I received a sample of this in my Birchbox. It’s marketed as a multitasking product, but it only worked for me as a body cream. However, as a body cream it is amazing! It sinks in at the speed of light, truly hydrates my skin, and the hydration lasts all day. Best of all, it is in no way shape or form greasy and leaves a wonderful, velvety finish. As much as I love it, it’s pretty pricey for me so I doubt I’ll purchase the full size.

This balm functions as a three-in-one product.
Makeup remover, hairbalm and bodybalm.
I use it mostly as a hand and footcream, it sinks in to the skin quite fast and leaves
the skin feeling velvety smooth.

This is a body balm/ makeup remover/ hair treatment all at once.
I bought this for around 23 dollars during a Hankyu department store event.
Since its made from clean materials, it can work as a multipurpose hair/body/face product.
I mostly use this as a body cream, and hair leave in. As makeup remover is too expensive for my budget.
Scent: Gorgeous, expensive natural bouquet. Not the overpowering rough smell of many other natural products. I would love to have a fragrance made of this.
Texture: Thick yet spreadable squishy balm, not a solid balm. Rubbing in is easy and it looks velvety not greasy yet moisturizing. On hair it sets my fine and frizzy hair into ‘shape” and makes it soft yet compact, I use it sparingly for hair or more generously if my hair is still wet.
Package: a metal tube of good size with lovely decorations, it gets wrinkly after a while.
Cons: Maybe a tad too rich for oily skin people or people who want a film effect from their balm. This balm seems to be fully absorbed on the body skin so no barrier effect, but a smooth moisture.
Pros: Sophisticated edge on a natural product. Effective moisturizer even in winter, gentle, non irritant ( on my skin), non shiny finish on skin, velvety effect.
All in all, when traveling I take it with me as doubles up as hair treatment, effective body lotion, hand cream and perfume. Highly recommended. The authentic line is my favorite from Davines, I do not love their “love/ momo” line as much since I found the Authentic line.
