This is THICK! I love the unscented product and that it is clear. I will apply small dab in my hand, warm it up, and then apply to my skin and lips. This has really helped my dry skin. When even plain old Chapstick and Carmex irritated my hyperchapped lips, a little dab of Aquaphor ointment soothed the dryness and redness. I like to use it on my super-crocodiley heels (rub in and put on a clean sock) and on my hands before I put on latex gloves to scrub the bathroom. It penetrates better than plain old petroleum jelly (also includes mineral oil; ceresin; lanolin; alcohol; panthenol; glycerin; bisabolol but no water). I like to keep a sample size tube in my purse to apply to my lips in winter, before and between lipstick or lipgloss applications.
