I was thinking about this fabulous hand cream which I had bought dozens of it many times over Bc it’s great! It has a very fresh natural orange ???? fragrance which I love Bc I’m a lover of anything scented oranges! it’s emoilent without being greasy and I think it has shea butter in it ! A definite good hand cream if your hands are dry!

I am a hand cream junkie. I can’t go without a hand cream in my bag for a single day, be it cold winter or hot summer. I wash my hands frequently because I don’t like them feeling sticky (I am probably kinda OCD about it :)) So it is essential for me to use a hand cream that is hydrating and at the same time does not make my hands sticky. Sally Hansen’s cream is the one I always come back to (I was desperate when they discontinued the old line and I could not find a replacement). It absorbs fast, It does leave a kind of waxy protective layer but not sticky! Love the smell as well.

This is the only product I use that is truely HG status. Deep moisturizer without feeling greasy. Every hand lotion I have used in the past that is supposedly for extremely dry hands feels like I am rubbing crisco on and it drives me nuts. I end up wiping my hands on a towel. I put this on every night before bed. I’m on my 10th bottle at least. I went looking for some more yesterday at Walgreens and they didn’t have it. Hope it is not discontinued.

I like the feel of this product but not the scent, which seems to linger on my hands after application. I also notice that Sally Hansen 18 Hour Lip Treatments have this same smell, and this unpleasant scent heavily contributes to my no rebuy decision.
18 Hour Protective Hand Cream does leave a nice velvety feel on my hands. I keep my tube at work and apply it in the mornings before my hands take a beating. After working the cream into my skin, nails and cuticles, I don’t have a lot of greasy residue but I do find I need to have a Kleenex handy before typing or writing. I notice my skin isn’t dry and in need of another immediate application after handwashing, but the residual “protection” certainly doesn’t stand up to repeated washings throughout an 18 hour day.

The thing I love the most about this product is the citrusy scent. It’s wonderful, it reminds me of the orange sherbet lollies that I would eat as a kid. I think it should be thicker and hand-creamier, though. Just this morning, I spilt a shitload of my mineral foundation all over my desk and it got all over my hands. When I got the crap off, my hands and cuticles were sooo dry! So I put some of this on, and it worked for about an hour. It doesn’t feel rich enough to work for 18 hours, therefore I have no idea how they decided upon the product name. I would love this as an all-over body moisturiser, but I only have the small 28.3g tube and that is about enough for 2-3 all-over body applications lol.

Not as good as the Anti-Aging hand cream with retinol. Doesn’t give much moisture throughout the day when compared to that product. Won’t buy again.

I love this hand cream. It soaks in perfectly and makes my hands super soft! Some people might not like the citrus scent but I love it! I buy this all the time.

It soaked in pretty fast without making my hands greasy which is a huge plus for a hand cream BUT I gave this to my mom now just because I couldn’t stand the overpowering citrus scent.

Sally Hansen 18 Hour Protective Hand Cream is just alright. My hands are quite dry (especially my cuticles), so I need something quite moisturising. Unfortunately this isn’t it. The name is also misleading – definitely won’t moisturise for 18 hours! It leaves a sort of waxy film residue which isn’t all that pleasant. But after a while, it goes away and sure, skins’ soft, but nothing out of the ordinary. I much prefer plain Extra Virgin Olive Oil and smoothing that over my hands and cuticles.
This hand cream has a citrus scent – not my favourite – and it stays on your skin for a while, so make sure you like the scent first before purchasing.
