I really like this loose powder! Ii got it in Classic Ivory and goes good with the foundation and lasts all day one me, didn’t make me shiny at all or I didn’t break out either so that’s a win for me….will buy again

I have tried all three shades actually.
IVORY
I first got the Classic Translucent/ Ivory to use as an all over setting powder. I tried ‘baking’ with it and it looked horrible (more on that below) so I ordered the other 2 shades to try.
PEACHY PINK
I ordered this one to use as a brightening under eye powder and attempt “baking.” it is similar in color to the original Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, where the Ivory is much whiter.
GOLDEN
I ordered this one to use as a bronzer. it is fine for my skin tone but I realized quickly the benefit of having a slight sheen to my bronzer for my skin. this is too matte for me to use in this way.
TEXTURE
These are all light and finely milled with a Matte finish but they can easily become heavy and bulk up. I would not recommend “baking” – it just creates too much powder and it is so matte it looks cakey and is very hard to remove excess. It just looked terrible no matter which light shade I used. It is fine for an all over setting powder – it has a matte finish but it does not last all day. I have normal to dry skin – not oily.
PACKAGING
Standard old fashioned sifter jar with no way to close the holes. no puff, no stopper. I received the bronze one leaking upon arrival. bad idea to travel with these.
I returned the peach and golden shades. I may keep ivory, but I wouldn’t repurchase. It’s fantastic that these are “Safe” and clean, but they just don’t work for me.
