I bought this on a whim and didn’t use it for months. I now use it daily as an all over setting powder. Anything Apricot or orangy is amazing on deep skin, especially with my yellow/orange undertone. It keeps my oily-combo skin matte all day and a little goes a very long way. It feels good on the skin and is not heavy. I apply with my IT Mega Powder Brush.
This is not pigmented enough to actually color correct like a cream would, however it is an excellent alternative to one size fits all translucent powders that can appear a bit flat on warmer, deep skin tones. When I want more coverage I use my Mineralize Skin Finish compact, but this is perfect for setting and provides just a whisper of radiance and glow, which I love. It looks very pretty in pictures.

This is a great idea that falls short of working. I bought this to color correct melasma under mineral foundation. I desperately wanted it to work because I just don’t like liquid foundation and I prefer the natural look of mineral foundation. I find that liquid concealer or correctors that provide decent coverage are still too visible under mineral makeup. This powdered corrector just doesn’t work. It doesn’t cover well enough to blur skin discoloration or eye bags, so this is going back. I haven’t found another mineral powder corrector, but I fear they’ll all be like this. I’m glad MAC tried, but I need more coverage than this provides and most folks who need correction will find this to be the case as well.

“Enhanced with a colour-correcting formula, applies transparently, creating an invisible veil across the face, smoothing away the appearance of lines and imperfections. The finely milled powder is virtually weightless, giving skin a smooth, velvety feel while reducing shine all day long.”
I bought Recharge to give my pale skin (NW/NC20-neutral) a bit of warmth & color without using a bronzer. It does that nicely. The powder itself is very silky & fine. Goes on beautifully & never looks heavy.
It doesn’t control my oil, I use Mac Careblend Powder & that works better for me. I can use this over my Careblend to get that bit of warmth to my complexion.
