This was the first ever translucent powder that I bought when I first started wearing make-up. Many years later and I’m still wearing it. I’ve gone through many pacts already (so many that I’ve lost count) and I love it. I recommended it to a lot of my friends and they’re hooked on it too!
Definitely worth giving it a shot because it comes at an affordable price point. It’s compact and easy to carry for touch-ups. I’ve tried this and the loose one and I prefer this because it’s less messy (if you have to touch-up outside). The sponge that comes with it is pretty basic but they have a better one that you can get separately (for only SGD 2-3 dollars) or you could just use any powder brush.
Everyone should own one.

Very cheap, and comes in an 8g pact with a mirror on the lid’s underside, and with a powder puff included. The case is quite sturdy with a secure clasp, I’ve never opened my purse to be greeted with clouds of white powder dust, and that’s even after my butterfingers have already dropped it a million times. The powder is a stark white, as in the photo above, and isn’t as translucent on as I’d expected. It’s too easy to make yourself look like you mistook your usual powder for bright white talc that morning, and even on my ultra pasty skin it was noticeably too chalky and dusty. It’s actually quite difficult to use the puff in such a way that the powder doesn’t look obviously white on the skin, with the loose powder version you can tap out a tiny amount to then put on the puff, whereas this is a pressed powder and even pressing the puff on very lightly picks up a whole lot of chalky white powder, and it isn’t much better trying to use a brush instead.
I can’t criticise it too much because it’s so cheap, around £4 ordered online from S.Korea, and I do like the compact case itself a lot for its light weight and nondescript design with a decently sized mirror inside. I often take it with me just for the case, as it slots easily into slim clutch purses and crossbody bags, with enough space for a spare powder puff or makeup sponges. Wouldn’t buy this powder again, the mineral loose powder version is far from perfect but much better than this pact.
