I really like this stuff. I’m NC10, use retinol and acids, and have no desire to get any color/ UV damage. I wear a lotion sunscreen every day, but I also wear makeup, and this is the perfect solution to touch up and mattify in one step in summer. I really do think it makes a difference/actually has SPF in it, as I’ve spent all day outside at amusement parks and I feel like it definitely kept me from burning when the sunscreen under my makeup started to give up the fight.
The packaging works pretty well. I never use the ‘buff’ setting (powder capsule closed from inside), as I do not feel the powder comes out very freely so I always want it flowing. It’s never made a mess. I gave the packaging four lippies as the powder could flow a little more freely.
As to value, it’s expensive for a small quantity. On the other hand, I’ve gotten two summers out of one capsule of powder, so it does last a long time. You can also remove and wash the brush.
Two thumbs up and a definite repurchase.
