   If it had not been the caky-ness of the foundation, I would have given it 4 lippies out of 5.

   Pros:
   -Does not clog pores
   I am acne-prone, and many foundations clog my pores. However this actually did not clog my pores, PLUS made my skin better in the long run! I believe it is the vitamins or whatever goodness that the foundation has
   -Great for sensitive skin
   -Relatively long lasting
   -good everyday foundation, does not feel heavy

   Cons:
   -Colour selection
   limited colour selection. If you have a good match, then great for you.
   I am mixed race (white and asian) and to most people it would seem like I have an asian skin tone. However the undertone of this asian brand foundation (I bought several shades to try) seemed off.
   The match was okay overall when blended out, but something was wrong with the shade that I could not put my finger on.
   -Shimmer
   The foundation has quite a bit of micro shimmers in it.
   -low coverage
   this has low coverage, can be built up to medium, does not cover the majority of imperfections

   -CAKEY!
   finally, the last and final point is that it is cakey.
   I didn’t realise this at all during the first few months of use, as it seemed to give a natural satin finish. However as time passed I realised that it actually sits as a light layer on the skin, and accentuates forehead lines, wrinkes, dry spots, and texture on skin.
   It was very elusive. Seemed like a natural finish to the person who is wearing it due to the low coverage, but in actual fact, to the eyes of others, the layer of foundation is quite obvious, sitting on top of the skin.
   Also, since it did not cover imperfections, I found myself packing on the concealer and leading to a much cakier cake face during my hormonal periods.

   DEFINITELY WORTH A TRY! HEALED MY FACE FROM OPEN PORES AND ACNE.

   I’m not a beauty junkie or a makeup junkie or a pro when it comes to beauty products. I rarely use makeup until my skin broke out like hell a few years ago due to some medications. My skin was never like it was before. Now I am left with a few pimples here and there and with giant open pores on my nose. I had to throw away my teenage pressed powder and opted for something with more coverage and wouldnt break out my skin and I found Maybelline’s BB stick with salisylic acid and yeah it did help for everyday use but never gave me that much confidence. Ive been reading so many foundation reviews both here and in youtube but cant seem to find a foundation that wouldnt cost me a fortune and give me what I am looking for. Ive tried a few in the mall but never got the coverage I was looking for. Others were a no-no right away when I read “propylparaben”, “methylparaben”, or ethyl paraben” in it as it can surely irritate your skin. I watched some youtube videos and found MAC’s pro long wear concealer used as a foundation so I bought it. It didnt break me out in fact it has dried some of my pimples but it separates on my face just after a few hours and it is so hard to blend as it is very thick and would look cakey a bit. It also accentuates my pores and makes me look terrible!!!

   I was gonna give up until I went to a pharmacy and saw this ZA foundation which I never paid too much attention to but since they are 50% off I thought Id give it a shot. I dont know but right away I felt like this is the foundation for me. I saw its ingredients and wow I was impressed!!! Its not that usual chemically foundations we see on drugstores and it has a lot of vitamins and minerals in it and hyaluronic acid. I tried it and bought one right away. The next few days I kept buying one until I finished all the stock on that pharmacy. It saddens me that ZA isnt much appreciated and I think they are pulling out from our country. Now even my husband with skin issues got a bottle for himself and you can tell his skin is loving it! It lasts all day like a good 6 hours and then I have to touch up for the oiliness on my T-zone but otherwise the foundation stays put for up to 8-10 hours total unless you are out during a hot day then this might work for 4-6 hours. After I remove my makeup, my face instantly feels soft, smooth and my acne has dried up and my pores are almost gone! What a HG foundation for people like me with skin issues!

   Its also very light on your face and gives medium coverage. You can build it up and it wont look cakey at all. Its very light on your face and there is no heaviness or discomfort at all! Perfect formula for me! But you may want to choose a slightly lighter shade since this oxides a bit on my face. Haven’t tried it on with face powder so maybe the results would be better if I did. Anyways this is worth a try and its so heavenly that a foundation can both make you look good while wearing it and give your skin benefits after as well. This is very affordable so there’s no harm in trying!

   Everyday use foundation, my face is getting brighter without any caking.
   Long lasting smooth foundation, classy bottle, affordable price, it can conceal little dark spot and uneven skin tone. Pearly shimmer makes face look bright and make oily skin looking sometimes.

   The texture is so lightweight and easy to blend. The shade i have (OC10) matches my skin well with light to medium coverage. In my opinion, we have to apply moisturizer/primer before to get smoothes finish. The staying power is quite nice,,,about 4-5hours then my T-zone starts oily. The foundation also comes with spf 25 PA++ so it can use outdoor. The only thing i hate is the micro shimmers . For me,if there is no shimmers this product would be perfect.The price is also affordable for the quality of this liquid foundation.
   Worth to try if u dont matter about the shimmers.
   For me,maybe i wont repurchase,because i want to try some brands of minerals loose powder foundation.

   Update: The cakeyness!!! And it accentuate the fine lines on my forehad omg

   This foundation gives me a dewy and GLOWY finish. Yes, it has a tiny glitter on it.. But it can be reduced by set it with powder. Easy enough to blend i think. I use it with my hand, not brush!

   Coverage: Medium
   Scent: Like…nice girly scent i think
   Packaging: PUMP! Yay!
   Price: Good price for a pumpbottle

   Why oh why it has the glitter on it…..????? They think i wanted my face to be a discoball?

   I cleaned my face after using this foundie, and then my face became realllllyyyy sooofffttttttt. I think the vitamin worked on my skin! Cool. I want to buy another shade since this OC10 too fair on me but doesn’t look like wearing a mask because it sinks really well on my skin 🙂
