I use the Porefessional Matte Rescue primer and this as my foundation. It definitely shrinks my huge pores and I like that it doesn’t feel heavy. Though the makeup has a tendency to run if I sweat. It also made me break out a little, but I use an acne scrub and that seemed to help. I use the Pro-Vanish powder on top of this because I have very oily skin.

Makes my pores clog rather than minimize them. Made my entire face breakout from just 2 uses, wouldn’t recommend any version of this primer? foundation? i dont even know what it is. The gel version is even worst, super heavy on the skin and if you start sweating it only goes on downfall.

Here I am desperately wishing I had of read the reviews on this before buying. This makeup is essentially useless for anyone with fair skin and large pores. With a limited array of shades, even (1) was far too dark (and orange!) Then the coverage is lighter than light, and settled into all my pores, maximising them rather than minimising! Definitely wont be buying again, sad I lost so much money on such a p.o.s.

This product confuses me! It’s like a tinted serum primer more than a foundation. It feels soft and smooth after you apply, and it did cover up my redness. It did not minimize my pores at all. I turned into an oily mess after about 4 hours. It’s super expensive and the packaging is not fantastic. I like the idea of the having it with you at all times, but the sponge is blah.
I like the concept but this was a flop for me. If you are dry and just want to reduce redness, this might be a good one for you!

**EDIT – I’ve fallen out of love with this. It doesn’t have a lasting finish at all, and it’s too complicated to use compared to my beloved Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation.
I’ve been trying to wear less makeup as I get older, and especially now that it’s summertime. My skin is in decent shape except I have mild rosacea, large pores on my nose, and an oily T-zone. I ordered this as a sample size from Sephora and I’m thrilled with it. It has just enough pigment to cover my redness and it does an adequate job in minimizing my pores. I apply a couple of drops to the red areas on forehead, nose and chin, and blend with my fingertip. It is a liquid and dries quickly once I start blending. It does a great job giving my that “no makeup” look and I’m saving a lot of time in the morning!
Cons – IMO a bit pricey since the packaging isn’t great, and the sponge that comes with it is pretty much useless. Also, my nose gets oily again after a few hours, so it’s not for the super-oily.
