Nice consistency but definitely not for dry skin. Shows all dry patches even with primer.

To be quite honest, I LOVE this foundation, and I don’t know what the deal is with everybody being so critical. I apply this directly over my skincare regimen with my fingers and set it with the Givenchy powder. Maybe if everyones was actually applying their skincare first and not just putting this on top of a dirty, crust face, it would look 10x better. Anyways, it’s a clean foundation thats good for your skin. A winner for me!

I have been on the hunt for a new foundation and the girl at Sephora really hyped up this new foundation. Thank goodness I only got a sample.
First off, the coverage was not full. I was able to see redness, acne, and freckles after the first layer. When I tried to layer it, I felt as though I had to use a lot of product and it started to look heavy – but heavy without coverage! It almost looked like the foundation was moving the layer of foundation under it and causing it to bunch up in weird patches. Also, it did not hide my texture/pores at all. If anything they were emphasized because of how the product sat on my skin. I wasn’t happy with how it looked after application, but decided to wear it to work. By the end of the day (over 10 hours of wear) I had no foundation left in my oily areas and in my dry areas the foundation gathered.
I could have gotten at least 2 more uses out of the sample, but I threw it away. Would not recommend.

I heard all the buzz about this foundation and decided to try it, since my Estée Lauder Double Wear was starting to look too heavy for the warming weather. I have oily skin and large pores and wanted a natural yet medium/full coverage for the uneven redness and broken capillaries I have. Every one raves about Sunday Riley’s skincare, so I figured the foundation would be great too.
Ehh, not the case. This foundation was decent for coverage, but I wouldn’t call it full or even medium. The tube is definitely sleek and attractive: that was the only good thing about it! I found that applying with a brush is the only way that it would look decent and kind of even on my skin, but trying to build coverage wasn’t happening. It almost sat on top of my face and just felt.. masky and almost greasy, like it would transfer very easily if anything touched it. Setting with powder helps with the shine, but it definitely didn’t help with the lasting power. Within 4 hours, it had settled into lines and pores and started to patch and look uneven and broken. How they advertise this as a long-wear, I am not sure. I tried it again one more day with another primer just to see if I could make it work, and the same results happened so it was a miss for my skin and I. It didn’t oxidize however, so that’s another good thing it has going for it. But, lack of oxidization and nice packaging aren’t the things that will make me continue to buy a foundation.
I ended up returning this to Sephora because I just didn’t feel it was worth the price tag. Maybe this would work with someone with drier skin and smaller pores that needs a lighter coverage, but I would not recommend.

The new Sunday Riley The Influencer Clean Long Wear Foundation is an interesting full coverage foundation. For some reason this foundation disappears on me after a full day of wear, about twelve hours. By the time the end of the day came a few times it looked like it had totally disappeared. Other days it would collection around the perimeter of my face, and some days this oxidized. This is geared towards oily skin but I cannot imagine those having much success because this seems to be a formula that is somewhat emollient. Some days on initial application this tended to accentuate dry patches. I am going to hold onto this for the possibility of using this during dry winter days. Also, plan on using a mattifying primer with sunscreen under this foundation since it doesn’t contain SPF. My review video and swatches can be seen here: E
