It was my HG foundation (I bought second bottle, which never happend before).
It is the best of I have tried so far for my oily and acne-prone skin.
Pros:
Definitely it makes my skin look fresh and polished, without heavy feeling or waxy residue.
Staying power is ok – look ok after long day
Does not irritate skin and my skin does not produce more oil when wearing it.
It seems to improve skin condition and texture
Cons:
I noticed that it can cause some occasional break-outs.
It irritates my eyes 🙁 on some days more or some less, but its painfull and makes me look like a rabbit or like I have been crying all day. It is a big no for me and I wont buy it again.
I have put many mascaras in my trash bin as I was blaming them for my eyes being red. Shame on you Kanebo!

I’ve been wanting to write a review for this for a while now but couldn’t think of anything to say because it is truly a perfect foundation for me.
Let me start off by saying I have terribly oily/ acne prone skin and to top it off, I’m olive skin toned. Finding a foundation that ticks all the requirement boxes is virtually impossible, and believe me I’ve tried just about every product I could get my hands on.
My biggest needs are flawless coverage, no separation, longevity and of course the correct shade. Yup, this one’s got it all!
The shade selection is so wonderful I can easily switch between 5 different ones and they would all look good.
Application is a dream because it’s so easy. This foundation just goes on so smoothly and effortlessly, doesn’t cake, doesn’t streak. This is a light/medium foundation so spot coverage is a bit touch and go some days. I recently discovered if I apply this with my beauty blender I use less product and get better coverage.
It also lasts me the whole day. I have previously worn this for about 18 hours and it didn’t look bad at all. Some days when I’m more oily I need to blot at noon but after a quick blot my foundation looks as fresh as if I’ve just put it on.
I have never bought a foundation that contains mineral oil as I was terrified that it would cause all kinds of chaos BUT my skin has actually improved since I’ve started using this!
Just to change this up a bit (I wear this daily) I decided to apply one of my other go to foundations and I immediately regretted it. It look horrible compared to Fluid Finish.
I adore this foundation, it’s effortlessly gorgeous and natural looking.
So is it HG material? Absolutely!
*Edit: For the first time in my life I have perfect skin and I am no longer oily (despite it being summer). My skin looks radiant, no more huge pores, whiteheads or spots. I have been using this foundation in conjunction with some other Sensai products so I’m not sure what exactly is responsible for my flawless skin, although I am fairly confident the foundation has helped tremendously. I am absolutely over the moon!

It’s a “meh” product. I just can’t find anything that would describe it better. I found this here and was amazed by the good rating, I’ve also been looking for, basically, a really good foundation. But for 50€ it’s really not that special. Looks great in the morning when I first apply it, but as the day goes it starts looking dry and a little cakey. I have many drugstore foundations and CC creams that give me the same effect for a much lower price.
Although I must say I found a really good match for my NC15-ish skin (a tiny bit darker), I bought the colour FF202.

Very high quality product.
If you are one that doesn’t need a very deep coverage then this is probably going to be great for you. I feel it is great for all skintypes, as it doesn’t matter if you have dry or moist skin already.
It goes on very light and makes the face feel dewey/silky. Great product and I will continue use.

This foundation is excellent. It somehow gives really good coverage while seeming quite sheer and light. It achieves a miracle by matching really diverse skin tones perfectly. My daughter and I are able to wear the same foundation color in this range, and we both look like it was individually formulated as a perfect match. The big attraction to this foundation was that as I got older and needed to use foundation, I struggled to find one that didn’t sink into my pores and leave little dots of foundation in my pores. This one was the magic I was looking for. I do use it over a Kanebo moisturising lotion, which seems to be important, although it also works well over Clinique’s Moisture Surge. I use other foundations by Kanebo, this is one of the moderate priced options and it is really good. The Sensai CP cream finish is a little better, though its price point is substantially higher.

I bought this foundation yesterday and I like it very much! I do not know if it will break my out or not, but I’ll keep updating:)
EDIT: Nope. I don’t like this,. Waaaay to expensive for such a shitty product. Didn’t break me out though, but gives poor coverage.

Hmm I’m just not to sure about this foundation, it definately does not enter HG status for me – I like it but I don’t love it enough to repurchase as I have other foundations that wear better throughout the day. I have been using this on and off over the last 6 months so feel I have given it a good go 🙂
This foundation goes on very easily and you have plenty of time to work with it, I like to apply this one with a damp BB or RT sponge as I find applying with a brush is too much coverage for my liking. The pump is good and I find 2 pumps max is more than enough to build up to a medium coverage. I like to warm this in the palm of my hand before applying to thin out the liquid a bit too.
I’m an NC15 and have this in FF 102 Soft Ivory (arm swatch above) which has a yellow undertone but I feel is better suited to me when I have a slight summer tan (I don’t tan my face but am certainly more pale in winter). In winter this will look too dark on me I feel. Actually I think this starts out ok when first applied but oxidises on me quite quickly.
I do think this would be better suited to someone with Normal to Dry skin, I am Normal/Combination and I find this does get shiny in the T-zone after 2 – 3 hours. I do set with powder which helps and find it is best to let this foundation “dry” down a little before powdering.

Like other reviewers mentioned, this foundation contains mineral oil and caused me to break out. 🙁

I’ll be another one to say: hey, this is awesome! I bought this foundation several days ago, and there are so many good things I want to say about it. I’ve been having trouble with choosing foundations and powders in general, because they make my skin feel like it’s suffocating, or they look cakey, or they become all shiny and yucky in an hour, or they make me break out (but I’ll have to admit it, this only happened with cheap foundation I used in my school days). Sensai foundation seems to deal with all those issues, which is a miracle. I don’t have many skin imperfections, so I am satisfied with the coverage level, which I would call low/medium, and the formula is so light I don’t feel it on my skin at all. Up to this point i have been using Studio Fix by MAC (NW20), which still is one of the best options for me, but Sensai foundation feels much more comfortable. It certainly is a bit pricey, but is a good investment nevertheless 🙂

This is my favourite foundation and one of the best I’ve tried. It has a very natural finish and I feel like I haven’t even got any on, cause it’s so light and blends into my skin well. I have quite dry skin so I’m always paranoid that the foundation makes my skin look flakey but its not the case with this foundation. The only thing I find a bit annoying is that you can only get it from Selfridges and Harrods in the shops unless you order online (I’m quite impatient). At £35 it’s not cheap but it’s worth giving a go.
