Don’t let the 3 stars fool you entirely, because I managed to make good use of what would be an otherwise 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝.
I bought this without testing it, and I made the mistake of getting the shade “FAIR ENOUGH”. I thought it was the second lightest, but it is actually THE lightest shade – oops. My fault, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙪𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩: 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙁𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨? What?! There’s no way this could work for everyone. Maybe they will expand if this foundation garners popularity, but from what I see, people don’t care for it much.
So going back to picking the wrong shade – “Fair Enough” is the right undertone (yellow) but VERY light. I’m generally light/medium. (NC25). Regardless, I tried it on my face – one full pump, but applied with my fingers. It’s ghostly pale and looks silly on me, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙒𝙊𝙒! Velvety, mattifying, and smoothing.
It has such an amazing finish. It really, really does. I have dry skin. Supposedly this is for oily skin, but I do moisturizer under my foundation because Lord knows I need it! I *might* buy the second shade, Cool Sand, but this is my new routine: THIS FOUNDATION as a primer.
𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮.
I figure I’ll make use of a shade that’s too light if I can wear it under my other foundation. It works PERFECTLY under other foundation because of its matte and smoothing qualities. It’s a clean slate. I put this brand’s other foundation (Kick Ass Foundation in shade #2) over it and it is flawless. Does NOT budge, doesn’t feel tacky, nor does it look cakey, and my “Kick Ass” foundation applies clean and evenly over it. It looks so good.
If you’re going to use it for its intended purpose, as a foundation, I have some 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨 and 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:
✮ You’ve got to work with this product quickly – it dries in no time, and will NOT budge once it dries. It’s a liquid-to-powder foundation, so it requires some special treatment.
✮ It can definitely end up cakey if you use too much. I highly recommend using your fingers to apply this for a lighter distribution of the product. A brush or sponge can make this type of dry formula look too heavy. If you don’t want to apply with fingers, I suggest dampening the brush with WATER and blending it in that way.
✮ Even if you are oily, this can still look cakey if you don’t prep your skin. Use an alcohol-free toner, a serum, or a light moisturizer (or all the above!) before application. It’ll help keep this foundation from clinging to every peach fuzz, pore, or wrinkle.
Good luck and God speed on this foundation, muh ladies.
When all else fails, at least try it under your other foundation.

This is certainly a liqiud to powder, took me a few goes to get it right as you do have to be quite fast. If blended well it can look flawless and is extremely full coverage. I actually prefer it to double wear as it doesn’t sit in my pores and make my skin look all textured. However being so full coverage it unfortunately has that mask like effect. One incredibly thin layer looks as though I’m wearing about five layers of makeup. It’s not my new hg for this reason but may wear it for a night out when I want to look ‘done up’

I have wanted to try this foundation fo quite some time now as I have extremely oily skin and most foundations slide off my face after just a few hours. Well, I finally bought some and am extremely disappointed ☹️. I do love the texture and it did not dry too quickly to the point of not being able to blend properly, but the real problems start after application. First, I actually think it accentuated my pores, and it definitely settled into all my fine wrinkles. But, the very worst problem was that it oxidizes horribly and no matter the shade (I actually tested all 4 of them), after a couple of hours I looked like a bright orange clown. As far as controlling oil though it worked very well. I didn’t have to blot my face as often throughout the day as I usually do, but the oxidation is so bad that it far outweighs any of the positive benefits. And to top it all off, it had an absolutely horrible smell that I almost couldn’t get past during application.
So, with my hopes and dreams of a good oil control foundation dashed, I must report that this foundation is definitely not worth wasting your money on…..☹️

I have very bad acne prone skin! All drug store foundations break me out even more. The only foundation that has worked for me is Estee Lauder double wear. I’ve tried so many times to find a cheaper alternative to work with my picky skin but always went back to double wear. I saw soap and glory one time while browsing walgreens and decided to try it! WOW, it worked soooo well with my skin! It has not caused one pimple. It will if I don’t wash off at night but that is expected with all foundations. It covers well and doesn’t fade away like double wear does during the day. Covers flaws very well. My make up stays matter pretty much all day. My nose will still need blotting eventually but not soo noticeable. It does dry fast so you have to work fast in blending but that is the only con for me….oh and very few shades luckily the darkest shade works great for me. I am 4n1 or 4n2 in double wear.

I bought this Foundation yesterday evening. This morning, getting ready for work I do my normal routine and I apply this New Foundation to my face – within less than 30 seconds my whole face looks like I had a mud mask on. It dried instantly & cracked, & it made my pores look huge.
If you miss a spot and you don’t smooth on the foundation quickly and evenly immediately upon application, you cannot go back and put more on to fix it. It will just cake up and dry on top of the first layer & you’ll look like a zombie with your skin flaking off. I actually to ran 15 min. late work this morning because I had to redo my whole face and it took time to scrub this crap off. BTW, this stuff does not come off easily you have to put your back into it just a scrub with soap and a wet warm washcloth. Ridiculous. I’m getting ready to go get a refund now. Don’t anybody buy this unless you are amazingly quick and amazingly great at applying makeup in a hurry. Like under 30 seconds you have to get your whole face evenly otherwise you’re screwed. Hell no

Loved this foundation the first time I wore it but no so much after that. It looks beautiful on when first applied it’s medium to full coverage but I have VERY oily skin and after 3-4 hours the foundation started separating around my forehead and nose. This has never happened with any other foundation high or low end. It made my skin super patchy and it looked terrible. It transfers off like crazy, basically any of the claims in the back of the bottle are false. I reallllllly wanted to love this foundation but it just didn’t live up to the hype.

This foundation is perfection for oily skin.
Pros:
I wore this for over 9 hours, and no part of my face got oily or shiny (I have an incredibly oily t-zone).
The coverage is very good – medium to full
Dries quickly
No scent
Stays on for hours
Won’t melt off
No need for powder
Cons:
Dries very quickly so you need to work very quickly with it
Feels and looks cake on the skin if you’re not careful
Sunk into my large pores – making them look even bigger
Shade range isn’t good
Contour and highlighter doesn’t look good at all and doesn’t blend very well.
Overall, I liked this foundation, and there were equal cons to pros. It kept me matte all day, is very affordable (£12), but the shade range is a real let down.
I tried Cool Sand and Happy Medium, and mixed them together. The shade was perfect when I first applied it, but then oxidised and was very orange after a while.
For a shade match:
Cool Sand = 1W2 Estee Lauder Double Wear
Happy Medium = 2W1 Estee Lauder Double Wear.
I mix both of these shades when I’m super tanned, and they matched the colours of the S & G foundation, before oxidising.
I have a full first impression review so you can see how it worked during the day, and how I applied it.

This is a foundation designed for oily skin prone to the odd imperfection that may need covering up. I have combination skin so tend to get quite oily in my t-zone within a few hours of washing my face. My first impression of the foundation was that it is quite thick in consistency- you do not need a lot as a little goes a long way which is good! I would like to say however that it only comes in 4 shades which isn’t great! Because I have fair skin, I chose the lightest shade which after application made me look chalky and pale! I also found it didn’t cover up the dark circles under my eyes very well and it clung to dry patches on my face even though I had moisturised and primed. It does however apply nicely and doesn’t set too quickly! I also have rosey undertones which I like to cover up, this foundation didn’t do that very well. After a few hours of application I found my skin was ready starting to look shiny so I don’t think it lasts for as long as advertised. Packaging is however good and it comes with a pump. For £10 I am rather disappointed and doubt I will be buying it again.

This is a foundation suited to normal/oily skin. Its a liquid to powder foundation that sets fairly quickly and lasts all day. It covers very well, it makes pores look a lot better, it holds off oily break through very well and it didn’t break me out….but…it has terrible flash back, I mean ghost face. Such a shame as other than that its a good foundation for a great price. I got it in the caramel and it worked well for my NC25 ish skin. It looks really dark but isn’t once buffed in.
