+feels comfortable and nice on skin
+smells lovely
+looks light and almost skin like
+looks very nice on mature skin
Cons:

-transfers
-it’s expensive
-has very strong scent(which I like)
I thought this one is going to be my HG foundation/base.I don’t know why but I had strong good feelings for it even though I had never tried it in per se..skip two coming paragraphs if you’re not interested in my personal story
Lets first talk about one of the biggest problems of my life! I can’t wear foundations.I don’t know exactly when my problem started but gradually I saw that none of my foundations sit well on my skin.I started to try different brands.from drugstore to high-end.tried different ways of application.finger, beauty blender, brush, different moisturizes, with or without primer but nothing helped.I thought maybe BB creams and tinted moisturizers look better on my skin.but nope.I even don’t know how to describe my problem.just that foundations don’t sit well on my skin from the first minutes.they look blotchy, patchy or cakey in many spots and/or showup many dry patches.I changed my skincare regimen.moisturize and hydrate my skin religiously but still I can’t wear foundation/bb creams/powders/concealers &… even though my skin isn’t that dry anymore
Now about my skin:it’s normal to dry, more on the dry side,I don’t have hyper pigmentation or fine lines(I’m 28),I have a few very tiny acne marks/tiny holes that are noticable just if one looks closely and very carefully, well actually there’s not much to cover, still I need to wear makeup specially to even out my skin,I have mild redness on my cheeks and almost strong dark cycles under my eyes.more than that,I love makeup.not being able to enjoy putting on foundation, concealer or any tinted cream is leading me towards dépression so now I’m desperately on a hunt to find a foundation/BB Cream/tinted moisturizer that would work for me.I thought Guerlain Baby Glow is the one, maybe because Guerlain is one of my most favorite perfume brands,or because it’s name is baby glow, anyway I paid 38USD(which is a true splurge for me) and did the blindbuy(I also bought Clarins Skin illusion Loose Powder Foundation as I thought maybe a powder foundation would work but that’s another review)
Review:
It arrived three days ago.I LOVE it’s packaging.it looks modern and girly also classy, isn’t made of glass so is travel friendly and has a pump which I like.I also LOVE it’s scent.it doesn’t irritate my almost sensitive skin and reminds me of Guerlain French Kiss, one of my favorite Guerlain perfumes.I bought it in 2 Clair/Light and eventhough it was a blindbuy it’s a good match for my skin. It’s not too yellow, not too pink.I guess the lighter shade(1) would be a better match because shade 2 is very slightly dark but since it’s sheer it doesn’t look off
I also love it’s glow.it’s almost dewy, on me but not that it looks wet or oily.just glowy like healthy, well moisturized skin.but that’s where it’s good features,at least for me,come to an end.
First,it looks cakey AND shows dry patches.I applied very tiny amount on moisturized skin but it was still very cakey.I thought it might be my skin’s bad but even when I tried it on my hand,it still looked cakey
Second,it has laughable coverage!
I’m into natural look and sheer to medium coverage and I knew that this one is going to be a sheer one.but even my Maybellin Dream BB Cream has twice(or more) better coverage.I can’t even imagine how it would look on someone with textured skin.it doesn’t even cover the redness of my cheeks and they’ve been always easily covered by any tinted cream..when I apply it on half of my face there’s only one way to find out which side has foundation and which side is bare skin:the side that’s patchy and cakey yet as uneven as bare skin and looks waaay worse than bare skin except that it has a hint of nice glow on cheeks is Baby Glow’s side
I know three days is too soon to judge a foundation but I don’t have much hope to see improvements.I’m so disappointed and wish I bought and tried Givenchy Balm or Diorskin Spray,or Vichy Dermablend, even Bourjois Healthy Mix,anything but this.with other foundations at least my skin looks good from a meter away
Edit:
Gave it more chances and I’m going to increase it’s rate to 3.5,when I wash and scrub my skin and then moisturize it very well it doesn’t cling to dry patches anymore(I use Montagne 7th Heaven Strawberry Cream or Qv Gentle Exfoliate as scrub, spray Mac Prep+Prime on my face and immediately apply a serum,Sesderma K Vit which is eye serum for reducing dark cycles but I apply it before makeup on my whole face because I find it so hydrating,it also makes my skin radiant,I wait about 10 minutes then I apply a rich moisturizer/sunscreen,usually Clinique Pep Start Hydro Rush moisturizer spf20 or Eucerin SPF 50 Sunscreen Cream for dry skin, again wait for 5 to 10 minutes then apply Guerlain Baby Glow with a foundation brush, then tap a damp beauty blender on my face.this way I can achieve the best results,I use a concealer for my dry cycles and have to powder my nose and sometimes my forehead too because they look shiney due to using rich moisturizers, when applied this way I like Baby Glow’s sheer, natural coverage and luminous finish but it still looks cakey on sides of my face,as if it’s not well blended, but believe me I do blend it well.if I figure out a way to solve this cakeyness, this could be an HG ,Guerlain’s BB cream looks the same way on some parts of my face but I wish I had bought that one as it has better sun protection

I never thought i could love so much this one. I love Guelrlain that’s a fact, but when I read “lightweight and sheer” on the packaging I steer clear…. I need coverage in my foundation and especially if I have to shell out 50 Euros for a 30 ml bottle, well, it’d better perform.
And this one does perform, in a way I could not believe.
It gives you a natural glow. Incredible, but it looks like bare skin, but glowing.
Your skin but better! Really, baby skin that looks healthy, very natural. Of course your blemishes will show, but it manages to blur the lines, and gives you an aura of freshness, well rested, and happy person.
I would have never thought it could.
I wear this on good skin days and on weekends when I want a low-key look but still want to look decent and somewhat put together, or on weekdays as a primer under light-coverage foundation, as it adds a glow (looks good with most foundations, to me the bomb is pairing it with By Terry Densiliss powder compact foundation).
Pity the shade selection is poor (4 shades in total): I wear shade 02 Light but it is a tad lighter for my NW15-20 skin. However I fix that with a little bronzer and will look marvellous.
The other day the people in wandering in my house told me “you look so good even if you are not wearing make up” (as I always complain that I am ok only with makeup on) and I was wearing this one! :o)

Honestly, I really dislike this foundation. Previously I was a big fan of Guerlain’s foundations, so bought this untried when it was first released as it sounded exactly what I’d like (light coverage and glow) – however this is much thicker and tackier than I expected. The colour match isn’t great (they only have 3 shades, which is crazy in today’s more inclusive times) and 02 Clair seems to run very peach. I don’t like the way it applies or looks on my skin. There isn’t a real discernable glow and it is not transfer proof. I’m trying to use it up by mixing with other foundations like Mac Face & Body, which actually ARE sheer, for work days when I don’t really care that much about my foundation. Definitely regret this purchase – TBH I think Guerlain has totally lost its way with foundations. I’m looking for a new foundation at the minute so browsed their range and nothing sounds good – years ago they were my number one pick after Chanel kept discontinuing every foundation I used of theirs!

I am a little ashamed of myself whenever I buy Guerlain due to the price. However, this is actually a good product. It feels very light and moist on the skin and though the color range is limited ( I purchased it in the medium for $54 USD) it is sheer enough that most people will probably fall into the light/medium/dark that they do have. I am oil/acne prone but this did not break me out, nor did it feel to greasy on the skin like many BB creams do for me. I also love the pump bottle because its hygienic and easy to control the amount that you get out to avoid wasting. The only downsides I could find were the price and it probably is not enough coverage for someone looking to hide flaws.

I love this baby glow sheer foundation. It is very light weight n sheer. If your skin doesn’t have too much problem with acne this one works great. If you thinking covering up like regular foundation it does not.
I like the smell, and a good hydation n premier is always good for perfect before any foundation

This product is AMAZING! Looks so natural and fresh on face with a nice glow. What else can I say?
The color range is very poor… I use the color 02 Clair for my NC25 skin and it is a little too light. I use 2-3 pumps of Nars Laguna Liquid bronzer to get a better color match and it works great!

This one completely took me by surprise. I only bought it because it was going for cheap and didn’t expect to be wowed. But wowed I was. It’s light coverage but makes my complexion look like I was glowing with health (not in the oil slick way). It’s completely fuss-free – you can just swipe it on and blends easily. Best of all, I was shocked that 8 hours on, my complexion still looks fantastic! A little shinier but still, pretty good. Even my beloved Urban Decay Naked slides off after 4 hours.
Totally recommend for hassle-free, everyday use.

I was very excited to try a free sample of this product. It is very light feeling formula on your face. The coverage is decent, but it did not cover all my freckles. The longevity is not there. It is also very highly scented, not unpleasant, but too much for me. The second day, my face got a burning sensation and I stopped wearing this foundation.
If you are young this might be an excellent foundation for you. I will stick to my Doublewear from Estee Lauder.

I find the name, “Baby Glow”, quite unappealing, so the chances of me testing this were nil. However, the evil Sephora sent me a sample, and I couldn’t resist it. This is an extremely lightweight, sheer foundation that has a subtle brightening effect. It blurs lines, gives skin a smooth, buttery appearance, and it smells amazing. The smell of violets makes me swoon, and this makeup has the iconic, classic “Meteorites violet” fragrance that connotes luxury and carefree beauty. I have NC35ish skin, and I bought shade 3 Medium. While my instinct was to go for the shade 4 Dore, I realized that the sheerness of this foundation allows more freedom in choosing shades. 4 Dore looks more like my usual makeup, but the undertones in 3 Medium noticeably neutralize any sallow tones in my skin. I guess it’s technically “too light”, but it blends into my skin so nicely you can’t tell I have it on. One pump covers my entire face and neck…(If I used more than that, this shade is obvious, and it looks heavy.) One pump is magic.
I have wasted hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars, trying to find a more moderately priced serum foundation with decent SPF. It’s ironic that I could have saved money, actually, if I’d just bought this in the first place! As I move through my day, I keep looking in my sun visor’s mirror at red lights, just to see my beautiful skin. I hate to think of what drivers in nearby cars must be thinking! “Why is that crazy lady simpering at herself at every intersection?” I don’t care. Sometimes there’s nothing better for the soul than a makeup product that makes you feel good about how you look.

This is a very nice lightweight tinted moisturizer type foundation that leaves a subtle glow on the skin. It is more of a sheer tint than the Lingerie de Peau BB cream (which is full coverage). I find this is nice if you want something to make your skin look better, that doesn’t look heavy at all. It is pricey (this is Guerlain), but their base products are beautiful and worth it if you can afford it!
