For reference I am around NC25, oily-combo skin, lives in hot and humid weather year around, I have mild to moderate PIE and PIH. Minimal textural issue.
Texture: As with most cushions, this has a very lightweight texture that spreads beautifully with ease. It sets to a demi-matte finish but still retains its very minimal glow if that makes sense, it has a sort of skin light/natural soft finish with a subtle glow thats really beautiful.
Coverage: This is a medium-full coverage but buildable to full. One layer provides a medium full coverage that evens out the skin tone and covers my PIE and PIH really decently. Two layers really give me full coverage without it being cakey. This layers really beautifully. This also does not oxidize, stays true to color throughout the day. This shade 23N really matches my skin well, it has a nice yellow undertone that suits my complexion well as opposed to most cushion that has almost a grey and ashy undertone (I’m looking at you April Skin)
Wear: Wear time is the best wear time in a cushion I’ve found so far, it lasted around 8-10 hours with blotting sessions in between. If you don’t blot it would start cracking and separating and fading after around 8 hour mark. What I was so impressed about this was that, I’d had this on for about 2 hours and went for a 5KM run in a hot and humid weather where I’d wiped away my sweat numerous times and it had only minimally faded when I was finished. I was in awe it had only worn off at the outer edges of my face where I was wiping my sweat, the rest still remained in tact. Needless to say this is my HG cushion right now. It also doesn’t emphasize pores and fine lines or dry patches or emphasize textures. This also smooths out my skin like a dream. It controls oil relatively well but as I mentioned earlier, you need to blot to ensure it lasts at least 8-10 hours. Has not broken me out.
Overall: I love it, I love everything about it except that this only lasted a little over a month with daily wear. And the minor negative is that when you try to pat for product with your puff, it leaks to the sides of the cushion container instead of going on the puff. I love that it is very skin like/natural yet can be built to full coverage without ever looking cakey. It just looks like subtle glow and demi-matte skin. I feel that if you’re looking for a cushion that wears well, has a very high coverage with demi-matte-subtle glow finish and controls oil relatively well then this is for you. I also feel that this cushion is suitable for normal, combo and oily skin girls but not so much for the dry skin girls.
