This foundation was recently launched in Japan and I attended a store opening party where I received a makeover and deluxe size sample of this foundation. This base was created for women over 40, so it is moisturizing yet long lasting and the coverage is medium but can be built up to high, according to the sales rep who showed me how to use it. I like a sheer base, so I haven`t tested it for high coverage. It is quite runny, so it is best applied with a sponge. It takes a little bit longer to set than the foundations I am used to (Suqqu and Koh Gen Do), but the way it looks on the skin is quite nice. I`ve used it with the primer from the same brand, and despite it being a glowy moisturizing foundation and the temps here running into the high 30`s, it lasted really well on my face with powder touch-ups. The color range is pretty big, too, for a Japanese foundation, at least 8 colors. It claims to have some top-notch skin care benefits because it contains a serum and few additives. Overall, it`s a nice foundation and it`s priced very reasonably (3600 JPY). Nice pump dispenser that is quite hygienic, no detectable fragrance. Would I repurchase? On the fence, because I still like my Koh Gen Do better in terms of finish: I have really oily skin, so I need something more matte, but if you have dry skin I highly recommend this.
