I am loving this product. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I hadn’t researched it It was on sale and I had a coupon, and I knew I could return it to CVS if I didn’t like it, so I went ahead and bought it. I never considered using the brush to apply it, and use it for concealer. The brush works well for spot concealing so I happy to have it in my collection.
The foundation itself is a serum in a glass bottle with a dropper for dispensing. I like the look and don’t plan to travel with this, so the glass doesn’t bother me. Before use it helps to shake the bottle, and it dispenses nicely from the dropper. I put a few drops on the back of my hand and while I have used a blending sponge and brushes at times, I prefer to use my fingers with this formula. It glides on for a light to medium flawless finish. My color is light and it concerned me at first as the color runs dark. Once applied it blended in perfectly and seemed made for me. It wears well and with a light dusting of setting powder it wears all day and comes off on my cleansing cloth at night. I get complements on my skin when I wear this, so it’s in heavy rotation. I have quite a few foundations so I don’t wear it every day, but it is one of my favorites and is unique in my collection as to type. I would replace this if I lost it or it ran out. It would be nice if it came in a wider selection of shades but limited shade range is always an issue with Physicians Formula in foundation, blush and lip color. Maybe so they can have room in the display for the 67 types of Bronzer Physicians Formula makes .

This is a pretty nice lightweight foundation. It looks very nice on the skin and does not look like you are wearing a ton of makeup.
I really like the coverage it covers fairly well. I do use concealer on marks and under my eyes but that is to be expected with most foundations.
The brush this comes with is junk I gave it to my daughter to play with.
I have very oily skin and I still like this very much. It actually lasts a decent amount of time on my oily skin, I was very surprised as most regular foundations do not. I usually apply 3-4 drops to the back of my hand and then dab my fingers in it to apply where I need it and blend it in for the most natural looking coverage. On days I need more coverage or am in a hurry I put about half a dropper on the back of my hand and use a stippling brush to apply where I need it then blend it in and down my neck. I do need to touch up with this like all my other foundations but I like how this looks and feels on the skin. It is like using a tinted serum not a foundation. You don’t need much to get good coverage. One bottle will last you a long time.

For a long time this was my go to foundation. Lasted all day. But over time I saw that it looked orange. Hope one day they get more colors.

Hi, I just honestly couldn’t wait to post this review. I gave this foundation a good 2.5 weeks with everyday use. I have to say that this foundation I bought for $14.99 I did read that some girls bought it cheaper as it was on 50% off. So the reason I actually bought this is because before I used Dior air serum that was $53. I loved the dropper. I know many girls absolutely hated it. But I actually liked it. I used up all of the foundation and was looking for something similar but possibly cheaper. So I was looking I also got a sample of Giorgio Armani maestro foundation ($65) it also comes with a dropper. Well then I came across this foundation. I must say that this foundation is just as good if not better than Dior and Armani to be honest. The feel is so light and I do see my skin changing for the best. This is a non comedogenic, hypoallergenic and paraben free foundation. Also contains spf 15 broad spectrum. That I love about it. It does come with a brush, but in all honesty that is a joke. I just put the brush away into a brush stash that I have a night use it for something at some point but I would suggest not using the given brush with this foundation. Also you do have to get used to using this foundation but it is so worth it. This is my new HG foundation. It looks so flawless on the skin, I have received so many compliments on my skin and it’s actually making my skin better so that is really important. The foundation is really runny and you do have to shake the bottle before every use due to separation. This foundation feels so silky. I shake my bottle then use the dropper apply little dots on my face sections at a time and use a kabuki brush quickly to distribute the foundation then move to the over section. The downside is that there are only three shades and that’s it so I use the medium shade for summer, but I mean I live in Hawaii so yeah. This foundation is great for those who find that the shade fits them. Even the lightest color isn’t all that fair. Also this foundation is a semi matte finish and Medium coverage. Girls I hope this review helped and I really do hope you give this foundation a try and if it doesn’t fit then you can always return it.

I absolutely love this foundation! It looks amazing- doesn’t cling on to dry patches, or make me look super oily (I have Combo Skin). This even looks amazing still after an hour-long intense workout. I like applying this with my fingers, in a patting motion.
Cons:
Color selection – the lightest shade I can only use when I’m tan
Smell – it smells horrible. But you don’t smell if after you’re done applying.
Physician’s Formula – come out with more colors for this!!!

I like the consistency of this product and the finish is wonderful, however… it is NOT good for fair-light skinned people. I am olive/warm skin toned and I get quite tan in the summer, however even the light shade was far to orange/dark for me. I tried mixing it with lighter foundation which messed up the finish. I now use it as a primer/serum before my powder foundation and apply in a very thin/sheer layer just so I can finish up the tube.

Love the dropper style packaging, very light weight formula, colors are on the darker side, its a sheer formula with not a whole lot of coverage but has many skinncare benefits, must set with powder in order to have it last through out the day

I actually quite like this foundation. By the looks of other reviews, there seems to be a problem with the color selection, not too suitable for more fair skinned people. The one I got fits me perfectly, and looks great. Would buy again.

I absolutely love this foundation! It’s super lightweight, doesn’t break me out, has beautiful natural matte finish, and last for a long time. Sure the colors are pretty awful, I’m in the shade light and I’m usually a light-medium beige skin tone. So it definitely runs a few colors dark. But if you can find your shade get it!

I absolutey love the coverage the foundation provides. It’s light, yet covers everything. It glides on and blends easily with no streaking or caking. It would be my HG easily, but the color is so wrong. I use “Light” in every other PH formula with no problem at all, but this, as a previous reviewer said, is just orange. I am so disappointed with the color variance. I don’t want to mix anything with it because the formula is so perfect as is and I don’t want to change anything…other than the color. If this was the same shade as the other “Light” products, I would never buy anything else.
