Terrible finish- very cakey looking, and dry patches everywhere. Had to remove it & use a different foundation upon leaving the house. Not a good word to say. Way too expensive for what it is worth.

It was able to help open the icing sugar I had in the hot cupcake tray and work the surface around it. That seems to have done the trick. I actually love how thin it is too!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Becky2887 from Really nice Lince This is a light drier cake so you can run the light out of the cupboard and just blend all of the icing sugar into the cupcake. The frosting doesn’t crumble on it and I thought I saw it drie in about 10 minutes. I think it does get thinner and on darker colors it was almost too white. So to my surprise it keeps on doing this for me. I usually use a deep toothbrush to gently polish this after the frosting has dried. I’ve only changed a couple times so far, but it has been fantastic so far and it will be my first big pan.

I have used any color so I thought it would be nice to do even here in the middle of a snowstorm and this was perfect for that. I just had to grow it down and not the blanket all that easily.

I have used pans. I, decided to use pans because I wanted to give each pie on its own. I’ve noticed there are too many finished pies that require use of warmer pans. As a result, I found myself reading baking blog postings and cooking blog posts about colder pans for longer periods of time. Hence, this pan was perfect. Not much to say… It has sat nicely in the butter pan and great for muffins and muffins muffins alone! Enjoy!

I have used the Inika mineral powder foundation before which I liked, but after having a bad skin period I started using a liquid foundation for better coverage. I thought I’d give this liquid foundation a go as I want to try and use more natural products on my face which can help my skin along in its healing process. I haven’t got sever acne but I have blackheads and I am a major picker! Like I will pick at any little lump I feel under my skin, I know it’s not great! But I’m trying to get myself out of this cycle. Anyway, this foundation just does not do anything for me. On a good note I do feel like my skin has improved but I have also changed certain skincare products so they could have also contributed to that. I’ve used a beauty blender, a brush and my fingers and this still doesn’t have a nice finish. For the price I am really surprised. It just doesn’t blend well and if you try to blend it out it just looks cakey and as if someone has wiped a paint brush down your face. If I’d paid less for this I probably wouldn’t mind but it’s in the £30 range, up there with the high end foundations, for the money it just isn’t worth it. No coverage, doesn’t blend, looks greasy after a couple of hours. I’m gutted because I really wanted to like this! I won’t be repurchasing. May be I’ll have a go with bareminerals…

This foundation is too thick and too fragranced for my sensitive skin. I feel like it sits on top of my skin like a mask and makes my skin look dried out. I do like the packaging because it minimises wastage but its overpriced.
One last complaint that I have is that while the jacket has a lovely hem and is completely made out of checkered fabrics it has a tendency to look rough. If you like your look, then this is definitely a throwback to the mid 60s where the Jacket became the standard of good old USA clothing (no matter the country). However, if you like any of the garments that I wrote about above then this is definitely a look that you will definitely want to be browsing at checkout.

I’ve already asked myself, ‘who should I have used this with? Could my schoolgirl want it? What would it make for me to wear?’ My husband could easily send me a pair with a few words on it saying he really liked my turn at it, but honestly I would have no problem giving them to him to use with Valentine’s Day! My thoughts are with all those who are thinking of buying my boys things, whether you like them or not, then go with it, if you need something or if you think they could make a great design, then so be it!

I must say that I don’t like this Foundation. I have acne prone skin that tends to be dry and this just doesn’t look so good on my skin. The consistency is too thick and a bit weird to me.
Inika Natural Perfection Concealer works so much better as foundation (even though yes, it’s a concealer) than this one, for me at least.

Over the last year I made the vow to only use natural, mineral foundations due to problems with breakouts, and I have been on the hunt for a liquid version that will make my skin look more luminous in the winter.
As a foundation this one is just OK- it has a nice, thick liquid texture that feels like it’s giving your skin a decent coverage (for a while) without feeling too heavy. However, it is oily to the point where it almost feels a little sticky (even with a good primer underneath). I have combination skin, with a kind of oily t-zone but very normal to dry everywhere else, and it felt equally sticky on the drier parts. A dusting of powder over the top is essential in my opinion (Incidentally, though I wouldn’t buy this foundation again, Inika’s transluscent mineral powder is a lovely product.)
The foundation has a seriously potent kind of bath product smell, which I personally find a bit off-putting when I’m applying something onto the delicate skin of my face. The coverage is very basic, and doesn’t seem to last long. My skin is generally good now other than the odd blemish, but I do have scarring from old spots, which this product did very little to cover.
My MAIN ISSUES with this foundation, however are:
– For the quality you get, it is seriously, seriously OVERPRICED. And I’m a girl who doesn’t mind splashing out on good products every once in a while. Wherever I can buy pure mineral, I will try to go for that option because of my skin type, but if you’ve got the money to buy this foundation, I suggest you do some more research and invest it in another.
– IF YOU ARE PALE, STAY AWAY. I really mean it. I say this with remorse because I read a couple of reviews by pale ladies saying that this product (shade cream, their palest one) was too dark for their skin, but I looked at some pictures online and read some other reviews because I really wanted it to be good. I bought it with an “ohh it’ll be fine” attitude. Mistake. My skin is your typical kind of ‘ivory’ shade with most foundations, so I am admittedly at the very pale end of the spectrum. But this foundation was properly orange. I mean umpa-lumpa “I can’t go out of the house with this on” orange.
All in all, this is a product I can’t honestly recommend to anyone, because although some skin types (tanned, normal / dry) might find it alright, it’s still not worth the money that you could be spending on a better product.

I love this foundation, i first started using it about 2 years ago and haven’t used anything else since. The main reason i love it so much is definitely the fact its organic, vegan etc. but also because it looks and feels perfecto on my skin (i’m a beige Inika liquid, (NC35)) and has amazing staying power, although having said that, it doesn’t quite live up to expectation if you don’t use a POWDER over the top! (i use Inika No2 Strength) so powder is an absolute must if you want a semi matte, silky, long lasting finish. I never have to touch up during the day and I have combination/oily skin. In winter I always use a primer beforehand for the added moisture as our skin tends to naturally dry our with the colder weather 🙂

have purchased this twice. goes on really nicely and makes my skin look great but gets a little oily part way through the day on my oily skin. I get that with pretty much every other foundation though, so just use blotting papers. Other than that I love it. main reason for purchasing is the organic mineral qualities. coverage is buildable and blends really well on to my skin

Well like the Inika Mineral Powder foundation I loved this at the start and have been using it for about 6 months (I repurchased once). I purchased the product from two different places. The first one was a container with a pump the next one was a squeezy tube with a pump. The squeezy tube has been an absolute pain in the butt to use. Sometimes I can’t get any product out and when it comes out it just kind of shoots out across the room. The first packaging was much better.
Anyway, back to the review.
This foundation works best with a primer. I would rub it between my fingers to heat it up and then apply to the face and finish with a foundation brush. Unfortunately over time I realised the colour (Cream) is just too light for me and made me look a bit ghostly. I also found that it didn’t give me a very dewy look and the coverage wasn’t all that great. It is definitely a light coverage foundation and building it up wasn’t an option because it dried so quickly on the face and a second layer just looked bad. In the winter time I also found that it made my skin feel really tight and dry. Over the course of the day it seemed to just disappear from my skin, not the best lasting power.
I won’t be repurchasing. This is now 4 out of the 6 Inika products that I have tried and been really disappointed with.
