These lipsticks are the bomb. I will probably still be wearing them when I am 90- I like them so much!
And I have so many! They smell of rose oil which I happen to love, they are a solid good old-fashioned kind of a lipstick, not too soft, but they cling on hard to your lips and have good staying power for a lipstick. They also come in many vibrant colors. Chi Chi is not shy when it comes to color, so these are rich, vibrant and opaque. And the nudes are great too – also strongly pigmented; although they are nude the lightness of the color is still opaque. Plus they have great names. -Amongst my favorite lipsticks. I like what I see as “the old fashioned formula” that “doesn’t go off too soon”. I feel they are formulating lipsticks nowadays to go off sooner than they need to with other brands, so you will be forced to buy another one. Its just cynical marketing practices…In my grandmothers day lipsticks lasted for years and years, so why can’t everyone formulate theirs to do that again now??!! -Oh that’s right! they want then to go off so you will have to repurchase! Still these last for years and are lovely.

These Chi Chi lipsticks are so good, I actually have so man of them at this stage, because the colour range is amazing, they last a while, and are so comfortable to wear- Even the matte lipsticks are moisturizing. I would call them demi-matte. And they smell like roses.
I like to wear these on occasions where I cant be eff’d dealing with liquid lipsticks. Or when I know I’ll be doing a lot of eating/drinking/talking because they are so easy to re-apply and layer so nicely.

I love chi chi lipsticks, I have about 10 of these, I love the variations of different colours, a huge colour selection compared to most drug store brands. Lipstick cost approx. $18.95 each and you can purchase from target and Myer. The pigment and amount of opaque is good quality, they go on smoothly, they are long lasting, although they do transfer a bit when eat/drinking and can fade a bit but that doesn’t bother me, I don’t expect any lipstick to last perfectly through meals. They come in matte or creamy, I prefer the matte shades, they go on semi matte at first and then dry down through out the day, can start to crumble when reapplying but I find for me that’s after about 8hrs of wear time and if I haven’t exfoliated and moisturised my lips before applying. I think they are comparable to my MAC lipstick, although I have been looking for a good alternative because best of Chi Chi is cruelty free! And lipsticks are also lead free. I will definitely continue to repurchase chi chi lipsticks.

I have 4 of these in nude colors, including Drop Dead Gorgeous, Game On, Sex Bomb and Checkin In. Prior to this I had been using mostly MAC, Dior and Estee Lauder lipsticks.
I found these to be creamy on application. They have a decent longevity, and a large color selection.
Drop Dead Gorgeous – is actually not a matte formula. It feels like a regular cream lipstick.
Sex bomb – has the grainiest texture, didn’t feel nice on my lips.
Game on – color is a dupe for Fanfare by Mac. Semi matte/cream formula.
Check In – also semi matte/cream formula.
Maybe it was all just bad color selection. But I found all these colors to not work for me. They cling to dry spots, so make sure to exfoliate properly.
I must admit I like Nyx’s matte lipsticks better. They feel a lot smoother and they’re cheaper.
Chi chi lipsticks are ok, but I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t repurchase.

I have been in Australia for over 3yrs and i can’t believe i missed this gorgeous lippie. If not for a friend, i wouldn’t have found this. =) I just recently purchased Kylie lip kit and i was soooo disappointed about it so i was on a hunt for a better matte lipstick. So i went to Target and had a look at Chi chi, and to my surprise they have all the colors you can possibly think of. I swatched it at the back of my hand and i instantly loved its, it was very pigmented and opaque. I purchased the colors Downtown Girl (muted orange, somewhat peachy) and Social Climber (muted pink/rose-like color). I absolutely adore it, it’s very creamy, and easy to apply. It results in an opaque, matte finish (although in my opinion it isnt 100% matte, id say it’s semi-matte the moment u apply it, but throughout the day it becomes matte but not drying, it’s actually very moisturising and have light feeling on my lips). I love the colors i purchased, it’s my everyday lippie as i prefer muted, nude colors. It’s very cheap as well and they go on sale every now and again. Overall this is a must have matte lipstick. =)

Best lipstick I have and the colour selection is really good. I have Drop Dead Gorgeous and it’s very pigmented on my pale skin. Only thing I don’t like is if I eat or drink i usually need to re apply (not always, just depends on what you’re eating) and that it doesn’t stay on for hours but I don’t mind re applying

Viva La Diva lipsticks are great! They retail for $18.95AUD though are often on sale, especially around Christmas when they are often stocked in gift sets.
The formula is consistent between all the shades I own. They apply easily and feel quite creamy on the lips. They aren’t drying despite the fact that they are matte which I really like. They are long lasting too, they last through drinking and light snacks but you will need to reapply after eating a full meal. They are softly scented, they smell like rose and are slightly sweet. The scent does not linger on the lips. They do not dry out the lips or cause them to peel. They are removed easily with makeup remover. The packaging is sturdy and pretty. You can see the colour of the lipstick through the bottom of the tube which is useful. The colour selection is fantastic! They are cheap, collectable thrills that are good quality.
I have a few different colours:
Exhibitionist – Hot red, orange based but definitely leans more red. Amazingly opaque. A great, sexy colour.
Paparazzi Princess – True nude, slightly brown based but not too much. The sheerest ChiChi colour I own, but it is buildable.
Social Butterfly – A lovely, creamy, everyday pink. It is a neutral, baby pink.
Fashion Police – Bright pink and very opaque. Dupe for MAC Impassioned. A fun colour, great for clubbing.

Long lasting power, nice pigmentation, doesn’t dry out my lips, doesn’t come off when drinking water… Awesome product!

Chi Chi matte lippies are fantastic. They’re long wearing with a suede finish, and yet they don’t dry out my lips or make them look lined. I only have the one – Social Climber.
Social Climber is a combination of pink, red and brown. It’s a rosey dark pink which would be a mlbb shade on darker skin tones. On me it is about two shades more dramatic than mlbb, which is just what I wanted.
This lasts through tea or coffee, and even through light snacking. The colour is rich enough to look “made up” but very easy to apply and works well without using a liner. I find I can get a nice, crisp lip line with ease.
The only con – it’s scented. For the quality and price I’ll put up with it.
I also want to add that Designer Brands have a line of long lasting lipsticks which have a fairly matte finish. I have one called Teak Rose, and I tested it against Chi Chi Matte Lipstick Centrefold. They’re very similar although Centrefold is slightly cooler in colour. I love the Chi Chi lippie and will repurchase Soclal Climber when it runs out but I would suggest that people who love the Chi Chi matte lippies check out Designer Brands Long Lasting ones as well. They have a good colour range, no fragrance and wear well. The only negative about them is the square, bulky packaging.

I have about 10 of these.
Some are really good some less so.
GAME ON has a grainy, dry texture and looks that way on the lips, would not reccomend, it also has a smell that reminds me of the typical grandmother perfume. Quite a few of them share this smell and personally it is not that pleasant.
EXTRAVAGANZA and RED CARPET RED have really smooth application and a really nice berry scent. also goos pigmentation, love those two
O.M.NUDE is my perfect MLBB shade (i have very fair skin and it compliments it well)
The rest are fairly good but nothing fabulous, have no smell at all but good pigmentation and lasting power
