I received this product in the color “Nimbus” from my DIL for Christmas and it has become my go-to lipstick, no question. The color is reminiscent of the long-erstwhile Revlon Moon Drops lipstick in Moonlit Wine! And wears beautifully, very comfortably without needing but minimal touch-ups throughout the day.
I’ve already ordered three back-ups from Colourpop! At $6 a piece for this quality, for me this product is a no-brainer YES.

I’ve heard negative things about their liquid lipsticks, but the metallic one has been AMAZING in my experience.
I got it in ‘DM’, it went on pretty pigmented and the color is so rich and gorgeous! Oh, and it is the single most comfortable liquid lipstick I have tried ever!
This is a buy-again kind of lipstick, without a doubt.

I really thought I was going to like this, but unfortunately this is a fail for me.
I have Flitter, as I am looking for a light pink metallic shade and online the tube looked like what I wanted, but on my lips the pink somehow disappears, all I see is an unflattering poop beige that doesn’t do any favors for my NW15 complexion.
Plus. once it dries it looks so matte, patchy, feels goopy and shows lip lines, and feels plain uncomfortable.
I wanted to love it because the price is great and ordering online was so easy and hassle-free, and it came nicely packaged and with a nice note attached, but unfortunately I can’t use it 🙁

I purchased this in the shade Man Eater which is a beautiful rose gold shade. This formula is NOT one that dries down completely, so beware that it will have a lesser wear time than a matte liquid lipstick. In saying that, I wore it for a few hours (eating and drinking) with no visible wear at all.
I have used this a few different ways. One, I layer it twice to get optimum colour payoff and wear it by itself. Two, I sometimes set it with a translucent powder. This results in a pretty matte finish (lasts longer but dulls the metallic-ness) with a rose gold shimmer. So much less intense colour, but still pretty. Thirdly, I layered this over the colourpop liquid lipstick in Dopey (purple nude) which resulted in a pretty gold sheen across the purple.
So don’t be fooled, these are wearable shades not just for a magazine! There are tons of ways to use them and they have a wonderful formula and the colours are gorgeous. I would definitely recommend trying one, especially since they are so affordable!

Gorgeous, pigmented and affordable!

Okay, these are incredible! I purchased Man Eater and Zebra, and both colors look surprisingly good on my pale skin tone. I was concerned that the metallic lip trend was one I would love but couldn’t pull off, but not the case! Yay!
From the reviews I’ve read & seen, I got the impression that these didn’t dry down and weren’t especially long lasting, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. Today, for example, I put Zebra on around noon and now it’s almost midnight. I’ve been wearing it for 12 hours, through eating and drinking (admittedly, finger food and drinks through a straw), and it still looks good and is still fairly comfortable! I’m a fan!

I love these. They aren’t a liquid lipstick that dry down, more like a cream lipstick in a tube, but still last a little while!
The colours are quite daring, so if you’re looking for something different yet wearable, try the shade “Man eater”.
I’m a girl who has trouble finding lippies that suit her, but seriously, everytime i see this lippie, it always suits people, NO MATTER WHAT SKIN TONE!! Its gorgeous.

Colors do not look the same especially on naturally darker lips, always a bit of a guessing game to 1st put them on. They are pretty drying as well but can’t beat the price.

I bought these when the second new releases came out. I have 4 colors: Flitter, Man Eater, Lights Out, and Salt.
The formula is really weird. It doesn’t dry down, but it’s not really a liquid either. It’s in between a cream and a liquid lipstick. The formula can be too drying to work with. With my skin tone, I have to wear a brown lip liner with them all, except for Man Eater. The colors are very pigmented, so much so, they look like tin foil on your lips. Not sure if I like that look. Man Eater looks the most natural.
The brush on mine looks like a normal CP brush, but a bit shaggier. They must have fixed the problem the first releases had.
Because I don’t like the formula and the color payoff, I don’t think I will buy these again. However, it is a cool concept.
