The previous reviewer described the shade Temptation Waits as Chocolate Mauve which I agree with. The semi sheer formula makes this work well on my pigmented lips and my light NW15 skin tone. On me this shade is a neutral brownish mauve with just the right balance of the two. It is neither too brown so it would look dated, nor is it just plain mauve which could be a bit drab. TF called this new formula Ultra Rich, promising 6 hour of wear. It wears very well on my lips, it is comfortable and seems even more moisturizing than the regular TF lipstick formula, with medium staying power, I get about 2 hours without eating which is average in my experience, I tend to sip a lot of water so nothing really stays on much longer on me anyway. Three shades of the Ultra Rich formula were launched as part of the TF Soleil collection in summer ’16, they are packaged in the elegant white lipstick casing with gold accents, which looks really stunning. Very pleased with this shade.

I have been looking for a color like this chocolatey nude with a touch of mauve to complement my brown skin for an eternity. After all the MAC Velvet Teddy hype I fell in love with the color, but knew it wasn’t going to look the same on those with deeper skin tones as it did on most of the people ranting about it. I bought Velvet Teddy and true enough, it was not a match. Great product, but just not exactly what I wanted… Most mauves look like a baby pink on darker skin and most “nudes” are only “nude” for people within a certain range of skin tones, so the color featured doesn’t transcend on WOC. This lipstick however stays true to color, and is so moisturizing it feels like a little treat every time you put it on. It also has great staying power and has a really light airy scent of confectioneries!
