This is very strange…I watched a few YT gurus and looked at some other beauty blogs before pulling the trigger on this kit from QVC. This lip product was one of the products that I was most excited to try. I had tried some of the other lipsurgence lip crayons in Sephora and none were a good match for me, color-wise. This one was looking pretty promising. However, when I got it and tried it, it immediately turned coraly-orangey on me, which I hate. I thought it felt fine, and looked OK otherwise (not super shimmery/sparkly). Also, if you’re looking for something that is going to last for a while, this is not the product for you. I don’t think these boast some super staying power, and they’re right not to do so. All-in-all, these are spendy and don’t last. The color is very sheer (which, depending on what look you’re going for is not always bad), and I can think of a lot of other products that I would rather spend that money on!

I really liked this in the store – it looked like the perfect summer lip color, a slightly bronzed pink-peach. Unfortunately it barely shows up on me and has zilch lasting power. Given my great experienced with Tarte’s clay blushes and cheek stains, I was expecting more from them. Not a terrible product by any means, but not one worth buying twice.
