I found these new SL “Shine” formula lipsticks by the new SL lipgloss display at CVS. The Shine formula feels a lot like the Pearl formula. If there is any difference, it is a bit less frosty. I am MAC NW20 (pink in skin), almost black hair, brown eyes, rosey lips.
Kissable Pink is a medium neutral to warmer pink. It can work for both summer and winter and is quite nice. It is just kind of “eh” on me…it is very middle of the road…nothing special, but a nice basic. I don’t think I am a huge fan of this finish. Some can look glossy and nice while others come off as too frosty. This issue makes it a bit hard to wear for casual settings (I am talking yoga pants & t-shirt casual). I know I sound wishy washy on this review, I was just very indifferent to the color. Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it.
