This is it! I think I’ve found my HG lipstick. I have fair to light skin tone with cool undertones. My lips are pigmented a bit and definitely on the cool side. I have been in search of a lipstick that’s just a tad brighter and darker than my own lips. So many have browns or warm undertones and tend to have an orange cast on me – hate that. My daughter introduced me to MAC Up the Amp and I really like it but it’s more of a pop color on me. This Berry Haute is just perfect. It’s more subtle than Up the Amp and just a tad less cool or purple.
Although I don’t find it as moisturing as my Estee Lauder or MAC lipsticks, it’s okay and not really drying on me. I love this color and will purchase again.

Such a wearable purple shade, better for cool tone, but definitely OK for warm tone.

This color will not be for everyone, and probably would look the most natural or simply the best the cooler undertoned you are. Skin overtone (foundation shade, light to dark) probably won’t have as much of a bearing on it as I’ve seen it work on people as pale as me to people with very deep African American skintones, and as long as the undertones are cool enough, I think it looks great on everyone there and in between.
The color itself too, may be off putting to some. It looks like a very intimidating deep lavender berry in the tube. More true purple as opposed to plum or berry than any other lipstick I’ve tried I think, but, especially when applied very lightly it looks surprisingly natural on me, For me, it can almost be an MLBB, but then again, I have uncommonly and highly pigmented lips, especially for my pale skintone, so that may not be the best thing to say, I will say, though, that this color really builds and changes the more you apply, so you can get a variety of looks from a sheer mauvish shade if lightly applied or blotted down to a vampy purpleyplum if applied in several coats and a mauve-lavender of varying levels of darkness if done somewhere in between all that. I really hesitate to use the word “lavender” to describe this, as I think that will make the color seem too neon or pastel-y, it is not. (It is not like Kat Von D’s Armeggedon or any of her true bright neon pink or purple shades), much more natural-looking and approachable than that, I think or would be for most in my opinion) . What i am getting at when I say lavender is a very cool and purpley- base to this mauve-berry tone, as opposed to a plum, red, true pink, or some type of rose or brown base (the latter of which being what is most usually found in most “mauve” or “berry” named lip shades like Revlon’s Berry Couture for example or , despite the name, MAC’s Plum, ful). But this is a fun and surprisingly wearable and versatile color and I love it on my very cool-undertoned and incidentally very fair skin.
This is a creme formula from Revlon, which I believe, is my favorite finish to the SuperLustrous lipsticks which I love, Smooth semi-matte to cream finish with good pigmentation and very good weartime especially for the creaminess of the lipstick (no shine or gloss here, though, but I like that as it means fuller, more intense, opaque color anyway and gives better lasting power usually too). I love this. And would recommend and buy it again, plus more revlon SuperLustrous lip colors creme finish and not (also have the classic and popular Cherries in the Snow, which I ADORE and is also a creme finish too)

Revlon does it again! What a unique color that is so pretty and fun! Wearable purple? Yes! Nothing weird about it and nothing I would usually buy either. I wish I had tried this sooner. I own so many nudes, pinks, and reds… never purple… until now! So feminine… it’s like a magical color. Bright and modern… but a comfortable shade to wear.

Such a fun and bold color that is remarkably wearable for day time as well. It can be easily muted or layered for more color. The only con is that it can be drying on the lips but I can remedy that with lip balm. This is supposed to be a close dupe for Mac’s Up the Amp lipstick.

I absolutely love this lipstick shade!! It was my first time trying a purple toned lipstick & I received non stop compliments from the first time I wore it. People have asked me what the colour name & shade is randomly while I am out & about wearing it. I brought this for $4 Canadian so it was a super steal! I am NC42 so anybody with that skin tone who wants to try something new in purple, give this a go!!

This lippie is a really nice purple color, but it looks dirty on me (yellow undertones; NC45). i tries lipliner, lipgloss, but the color still looks dirty.Purple lipsticks are a definite no-no for me! Never buy again!!!

There’s not much I can possibly add to these reviews, but I still want to since I just got it and am kind of obsessed…
Berry Haute is a mid-tone purple-violet-fuschia color. It’s definitely a very close dupe of MAC’s Up the Amp, and I’d say it’s pretty close to Bite’s Violet pencil too. It’s oddly incredibly wearable, and the formula is totally on point. I actually prefer it to these higher-end dupes (I have both) because the color is just a *touch* less bright/neon and the formula isn’t as high maintenance, less inclined to smear. Applies smoothly, doesn’t settle into lines or flakes, wear is very long. Appropriate for daytime/office wear, bold and fun enough for going out. I got mine for about $6 during a 40% off Revlon Rite Aid sale, so yeah, pretty affordable.
The very first time I wore it, I did get a slight burning sensation on my lips but it went away quickly, so heads up if you have sensitive skin.

A really unique soft purple shade. This shade makes purple very wearable, day or night. It is also a universal shade which I love. Seriously a must have in my collection.

Lovely lipstick colour. I bought it because of the great reviews on here and it really is as good as they say. The texture is creamy and has a matte, yet not drying, finish. The colour is a mixture of fuschia/purple and pink. Highly recommend.
