The color is really nice on my MAC SFF NC 40 skin tone and i do agree that this color is universally flattering. Really nice color for everyday wear.
However, i don’t think there’s anything special about the formula. It is alright and does not dry my lips but that’s about it. It doesn’t last that long on me and could be a bit messy/bleed a little. For the price, there are better quality lipstick out there.
Also, the packaging is nice but for a liquid lipstick i don’t like it. I prefer my other simple compact cylinder shape liquid lipstick. This one is too big. But that’s just me. So overall, its okay but nothing of a wow factor and i shall move on to try other brands liquid lipstick.

I’d sworn off matte liquid lip products, so I dithered for a while before buying Uncuffed. I’m glad I did. As I age, I’m finding that most pinks look very church-lady on me, and it’s not a good look. Uncuffed has just enough brown and mauve in it to be incredibly flattering (much more so that I thought it would be), yet it’s still pink–just updated. It’s the natural shade of my lips but a bit deeper and more pink, so it suits my NW 15-20 complexion very well. Another concern I had before buying was the texture–having read many reviews, I thought it would be too liquid and bleed all over my face. It doesn’t (but I prepped my lips by outlining with a MAC Chromatographic pencil, which I blend, powder over pretty heavily then brush off the excess, and then apply liner–Soar, which is a great match). I used the applicator to apply, but wiped the bottom of it on the edge of the bottle first, so that it looked as though there was no product on it. But, the applicator being spongy, there was plenty to cover my lips lightly and perfectly, and I was able to shape my lips with no problem. It takes a minute or two to dry, but I don’t have an issue with that. And once it’s on, it’s on. It has a bit of slip, which keeps it from drying out my lips horribly (it’s a little drying, but I’ve worn much worse), and is surprisingly comfortable. I topped it with a bit of Gloss Bomb in Fu$$Y, and wow! Perfect lit-up MLBB lip for me. The gloss makes the paint wear off from the inner lip out, but I’ve found that I can even the whole thing out with a dry lip brush, so it’s not a big issue for me. I’m surprised by how much I like it. My only complaint, as with Fu$$y, is that the packaging, although pretty, is bulky, and I find that really annoying in products that I’ll carry with me. Otherwise, this is a big surprise winner for me, and I would repurchase.

Pros:
I like how thin the formula is and how pigmented it is
Cons:
The application is not very forgiving of mistakes
Overall: 4* – I like the formula, but the color doesn’t stand out
