Tried in berry sorbet. Hated the color but it did last a long time

I bought this product on a whim and so far so good. It comes in a long retractable tube — I’d call it a lip stick and not lipstick. My chosen shade is “Dash of Pink”, which is a wearable hot pink, and I only apply a light wash of it on my lips with a layer of balm underneath for a natural look. The product is labeled matte, but seeing as it’s not a liquid formula, it doesn’t dry flat on the lips. It lasts a few hours but you will have to reapply after eating! The best use I’ve found for this lip stick is actually as blush, which I discovered by accident when I forgot to bring blush to a wedding and had to improvise. Great over moisturized skin for a natural flush: just apply to fingertips or directly onto cheeks (in a dotted line along the cheekbone going upward to the ears) and blend. I like this product for being cheap and handy, but won’t be repurchasing as it contains parabens.

I have this in the shade Natural and I. Love. This. Color. At first I thought it was just a cool-toned beige, but once I put it on, it morphed into a mauvey nude, almost verging on a true mauve (grayish light purple). It’s a gorgeous color, looks so sophisticated, and ironically I find it’s more comfortable to wear than e.l.f.’s moisturizing lipstick if I put a balm underneath it. The color is buildable and pretty opaque after a few swipes. I also like the slim packaging and the option of using it as a lip liner, thanks to the sharpener hidden in the bottom. And of course, the price can’t be beat.

I like these, I have them in almost every colour. I really LOVE the fact that the bottom pulls out and is a sharpener to make a sharp tip so I can line my lips with it too. Because of that I like tossing them in my purse for tough ups on the go especially if I am wearing a darker colour. It isn’t super longlasting but it feels really comfortable on the lips so i dont mind.

Review for Hot Commodity.
This is a beautiful coral shade and I love the narrow tip for doing the outside edges of lips.
This isn’t matte though. It’s a cream and slippery enough for the white base to settle into ALL my lip creases and slip off the middle of my lips when I press them together. When I smile all the whitish creases show up.
Yuck.
Destashing and definitely not repurchasing.
Review for Rich Red
Definitely a better product than Hot Commodity. This is a cute, clear, mid red that’s nice for casual wear. It still isn’t matte though and is somewhat creamy.
No scent or taste which I appreciate. Take note, ELF!

Have this in praline and wine. Love the first! Very easy application, product is matte, stays on ok and wears really well. 1 star off bc the stick hippie broke without me dropping or knocking it around, but overall this is an excellent line if you find suitable shades

‘Natural’ is pink with a mauve cool undertone that really is gorgeous. No need for liner with these. I usually use a Chanel lipstick but this color is perfect for Summer – Winter. Not drying, amazingly inexpensive at £4.50. I’ll be stocking up on this color because it’s very very flattering to my blond hair/ blue eyes/ fair skin. A pop of lip balm underneath and this lasts hours.

I really love these lipsticks. They’re simple, no-frills, every day kind of lipsticks. I always keep at least one in my purse for lipstick emergencies (or if the lip color I chose for the day isn’t working.) I recently had to repurchase a couple of these as the old ones I had went bad, and the formula and wear is just as good. These are actually one of my favorite products from ELF, and I am always surprised every time I bust one out and wear it.

Bought this in 3 shades as it was on a half-price sale, in Tea Rose, Natural and Praline. Sadly I didn’t like the first two colours, as I found Tea Rose to be more mauve than rose, and Natural just washed me out (and I am very pale but with fairly pigmented lips). Praline is sort of an interesting light brown I might wear in the fall. I like the format that is sort of halfway between a lipstick and lip liner, and makes it easy to apply precisely. Love the fact it has no scent or taste, and it seems nice and matte to me.

I have this in natural (nude) and tea rose (purpley nude mauve) and they are GORGEOUS. They are matte, but super comfortable. I own like 3000 lipsticks and these are some of the highlights. Definitely worth the low price, and the nudes are super flattering!
