Personally, I do not apply straight from the tube because this color is just too dark for my taste.
The way I apply is I dab the product onto my lips or I use my fingertip to lightly apply and gently blend. Applying this way keeps the color from being too rich, and ends up being more of a stain that will last quite a while. One light layer gives me a light burgundy with more of a cranberry tone.
I would not buy the shade VAMPIRA again but I would definitely purchase the Studded kiss lipsticks in a different color. I really like the shade Lolita which is a great everyday shade.
These are great quality and feel nice on the lips. I often forget that I even have it on. My lips feel soft and never dried out the way they can get with other lipsticks I have tried.
I feel like I get longer wear time than with similar lipsticks. It wears off evenly as well. However, this might be because of the way I apply the product. It seems to set and stay better than applying heavily from the tube.
Either way, I really do enjoy them.
I also love the scent of these lipsticks which is a soft vanilla.

I originally bought the Vampira Everlasting Liquid lipstick and was curious about the Studded Kiss lipstick version. I came to the conclusion that they are roughly the same. The Studded Kiss color is essentially identical to the liquid lipstick version, except the staying power is not strong and it transfers easily. With this shade, I have to exfoliate my lips or the color will look uneven as it catches on different parts of the lip. This only seems to happen with this shade, as I have other Studded Kiss lipsticks in matte and this does not occur with them. One of the more irritating aspects of this shade is that the lipstick will not stay even in the corners or center, closer to the inside of the lip. This happens without the influence of food or drink and will occur within minutes of application. I am unsure whether this is unique to Vampira or if I just had bad luck with the tube I bought, which was $21 at Sephora. While I adore the Studded Kiss line of lipsticks, I will not buy this particular shade again.
