This is a lovely red shade, and it does last pretty well, but I find the formula to be too thick for comfortable wear as well as being kinda drying. I also don’t really love the packaging, as it can kind of allow the liquid to seep out. When these were first launched there weren’t many really truly great liquid matte lipsticks on the market, but now everyone makes one. Today, there are much better formulas that feel better on the lips but still wear for extended periods of time.

I loved the Beso Shimmer in this lipstick! It lasts super long, but my lips dried up after. It gives great colour on my skin tone and I’d love to wear it on a night out. You can see how it looks on me in my YouTube video here: U

I was so excited to try this. I have been wearing 8+ hours a day lipstick for years (since they came out!). I was so happy that there were high-end options because I wrongly assumed that they were better than my department store brand. I read many reviews and went to Ulta confident that I had hit the jackpot with Stila. The colors are beautiful and although they are quite comfortable to wear, THEY DO NOT STAY ON. I write this capitalized because my intent is to save someone else the money they would spend on these. I can’t imagine why the reviews are so high because I tried 3 different ones and they are all going back. After reading the negative reviews on here, I think I will try NYX.

This is my favourite liquid lipstick ever.
I actually purchased this liquid lipstick a few years ago for my prom. I wanted to do a bold red lip that would last all night and this did not disappoint.
The packaging is a sleek tube that’s easy to throw in your purse or clutch. Upon application, the wand does tend to carry a lot of product, which is why some may find it easier to use a lip brush when applying but it’s still feasible with the wand alone.
You definitely need a steady hand to apply this product. It’s super vibrant and pigmented so mistakes will be noticeable and slightly difficult to fix. You have to work semi quick with this product as well.
That being said, once it dries you have the most beautiful, bright, true red lipstick. It’s matte and not sticky, unlike some liquid lipsticks. Plus it photographs beautifully and honestly, it made my prom pictures.
It lasted about 8 hours on me with only one slight reapplication after eating since it faded slightly in the centre of my lower lip. As long as you reapply with a light hand, you can get away with touching it up without it becoming a clumpy mess.
While it’s definitely one of the more expensive liquid lipsticks, it’s worth every penny in my opinion.

Maybe it’s just the formula but I have tried three of these liquid lipsticks and all three are not working for me. I know all liquid lipsticks are a little tricky to work with but if you want to try them out I would go for a cheaper product first to test run if you like the way it feels. I find the Revlon ones easier to work with

I love Beso’s color (closest I’ve so far found to my HG red, MAC Powerhouse) unreservedly, but I find the formula fairly drying.
I’m just not that much of a fan of long-wear liquid lipsticks, but Beso *is* one of the better ones I’ve come across.
You can count on Beso to look fantastic for a solid two to three hours, especially if you don’t eat or drink. Eventually, though, it will do that peel-off-in-random-patches thing so common to this type of product.
I’d buy Beso again, though, because 1)It’s from a cruelty-free company, 2)It’s that rare red that looks truly RED, not pink, on NW15 me, and 3)It looks good far longer than a conventional lipstick.
The color alone merits a re-purchase!

One of the best Reds I own. It’s a gorgeous Colour and doesn’t budge at all. Stila, still has one of my all-time favourite liquid lipstick formulas: Not overly drying and Color is very opaque.

This thing matches the glam I need to get along with my dark brown hair that looks black. Does set a bit longer but once it does, won’t go away after you kiss someone (not making out with somebody).
I bought this the travel size, one application would cover all my lips. A bit more creamy liquid formula, not drying at all for me.

My holy grail of lipsticks! I can’t emphasize it enough when I say how amazing this liquid lipstick is! I love it so much! My love affair with red liquid lipsticks began after I tried (and loved) Sephora Creme Lip Stain in “Always Red.” Since then, I have tried so many different brands of reds and this, by far, is the best formula I have come across. I appreciate a good liquid lipstick with great staying power that doesn’t make my lips look and feel like raisins. Like all matte liquid lipsticks though, it is still slightly drying, but not enough that it’s really noticeable. It doesn’t accentuate any lines or cracks in my lips, which I very much appreciate! When I first opened this, I was worried that the doefoot applicator would be too bulky & fuzzy to apply with precision, but that wasn’t the case at all. It applies easily and perfectly! Smells good too! The color “Beso” is a true, neutral red, which makes it flattering on almost all skintones. It’s a statement red without being too “in your face” and for that reason, I can wear it during the day without feeling self conscious. I receive so many compliments when I wear this. While Sephora’s “Always Red,” will probably always be my favorite shade of red (blue-based reds look more flattering with my fair, cool undertones), Stila’s “Beso” is still my go-to, because the formula & staying power is far superior. I love that I can apply this and forget about it for hours. I highly recommend any of their Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. While they are a bit pricey (approx. $24), they are so worth every penny! If you love a good matte red lipstick, I highly doubt you’ll regret this purchase! 5 well deserved lippies! ????????????????????

really great consistency, amazing pigmentation (only needed one dip in the product to coat my whole lips), SUCH A NICE SHADE, the only problem is incredibly minor (slight transfer), and obviously if you eat oily or wet food it will come off but thats a given. i love it.
