I picked up one of these in Glisten a few months ago at my local Hyvee store. I find myself migrating towards tinted balms lately and thought I would give it a try.
This is a very sheer pinky nude color, not much color payoff but I don’t think that is the intent with this shade anyway which is why I like it. It just applies a tint of color and hint of shine. I find myself wearing this a lot on the weekends when I keep things really simple.
It is pricey, I paid $9.99 for it but has good ingredients which I really appreciate. I have read other reviews on the packaging where the cap is not stable, so far I have not had that issue but I don’t carry this with me either, probably for that reason. I personally like the chubby stick or pencil style, it’s reminds me of a crayon I guess.
Would I buy this again? Yes, I would. The price is a little steep, this is actually the most expensive lip product I own. Others have commented on the mint ingredient being drying, I have experienced that with other products but so far not this one. If I were to have an issue with that it would be the only reason I would not buy again.
Overall, I give this 4 and a half stars. I may try one of the other colors at some point.

This lip crayon is a little pricey at around $10-15 CAD each. It is however certified by EWG Skin Deep so you know the ingredients are safe. That being said, I believe this product contains vanilla mint which I found to irritate my lips and make them dry. It feels like its moisturizing at first, but over time, the mint dries my skin.
Other than that, the pigmentation and feel is OK, but I won’t repurchase this because of the mint.

Love love this for everyday! So moist and makes my lips feel so good! Flicker and Blush are my favorite colors for my medium light complexion. The color “Ripe” in their Lipstick Butter is also a winner! Gorgeous light coral brown!

This is my favourite lip product so far. Easy to apply without a mirror, buildable, and it feels great. The scent and taste are fine for me, as I tend to be sensitive/allergic/grossed out by fragrances and flavours. My two faves are Flicker (earthy pink, mlbb) and Smolder (red). I also love Adorn and Blush for variety.
The cap did crack and they can fall off in your purse! But the product tip has never broken, and I have never found creasing or lumping with this product. I have had far more expensive lip products lump and crease on me immediately.

I wish there was an option to say “not sure” I would buy this again.
I have it in two colors, both purchased recently: Flicker, and Shimmer.
Actually, make that one. This morning I tried to apply the Shimmer for only the second or third time since I purchased it. The tip broke off. I haven’t been wearing much lipstick recently so am out of the habit of handling them. So I don’t know whether this product is particularly problematic or not.
I like subtle color, so I don’t apply much. I like them both. I was hoping for a natural lip color, and found the Flicker a little too reddish brown, which is why I tried another color. The Flicker is nice, however, and will doubtless come in handy.
I liked the pinker shade of the Shimmer, but not the actual shimmer. In fact, I could have sworn there were even a couple of actual sparkles on my lip after the first application. Alas, I won’t have any more data on that color, because I threw it away when it broke.

I have two of these – GLISTEN (light pale blush neutral) and ADORN (darker plum/red) – both I love. They go with pretty much everything.
These are beautiful in colour, shine, moisture and staying power.
Not too sticky and they taste good and smell good.
I am a big fan of gloss and always found lipstick to be too hard looking – this is the perfect compromise.Very natural looking without trying too hard, ya know? I hate harsh , crass looking lips.
The cap is a problem – it doesn’t stay on very well… better design needed.
I got on sale from Whole Foods for $8.00 each before tax… good bargain.

EDITED REVIEW. After trying this product for longer wear times, I really dislike it. After about two hours it tends to clump and crease on the lips. It looks awful. The color transfers easily as well.
It glides on smoothly at first application. However, after one to two hours of wear, you have to remove the original application completely and reapply to get rid of the clumps.
I own the color Flicker. The pros are, it has a soft, pigmented color perfect for a lip tint. The smell is slightly minty with a vanilla hint.

I’m a big fan of these lip crayons. Super moisturizing…decently priced…a natural and cruelty-free brand… I have these in three colors: “Adorn” – the MF website says it’s a rich plum, but the color is really a muted deep red. Best comparison would be to Burt’s Bees Lip Tint in Red Dahlia – however this has more buildable color. “Blush” – the MF website says it’s an earthy purple, but I’d consider it more of a rose color with just a hint of brown. “Flicker” – the MF website says it’s berry, but I found it be more pink than red. Overall all are great colors. The packaging is fine – my only gripe is that the cap does not stay on super-tight – I can see these easily losing their caps while being jostled around in a purse.

This lip crayon is better than Revlons lip crayons. It contains natural ingredients and does not cause an allergic reaction than the latter. I like how this product does not contain carmine because I find it disgusting applying crushed beetles on my lips. It contains peptides and shea butter for moisture. I got the color in smolder which is a cherry red. It has a semi-matte finish and no shimmer. Plus, it only cost $10 for 3g. That is a decent amount for any lip product. It’s nice how this lip crayon could double up as blush, and use it as a multitasking product, but it is still better to use a powder blush for long lasting color. The only con is that there should be more variety of shades. It is also not very long lasting because it is quite moisturizing, but i cant seem to find any moisturizing lip product that last very long.
