For me this lipstick does not live up to its claim that it lasts 12 hours. Nevertheless and in spite of usual tendency to despise lipsticks that do not have staying power, I really like this lipstick. I got it in number 30 but there were a lot of other colours that I thought were also great. What I like most about this lipstick is that it is really moisturising and helps my dry chapped lips look smooth and sleek.
Buy this if:
– You want a variety of colours to choose from.
-Your budget is in the low-medium or medium price range.
-You want a lipstick that provides a lot of moisture.
-You don’t mind that in spite of it’s claims, its longevity on your lips is quite average.
Don’t buy this if:
-You want a lipstick that has a more matt finish.
-You want a lipstick that really does last 12 hours.

I have this in Entry VIP and it’s the perfect red for me (Asian, NC25). It’s hard for me to pull off red – too orange and it makes me look sallow, too blue and I feel so conspicuous it’s disconcerting (introvert here!) But this red is truly outstanding. It brightens my complexion but doesn’t scream red lipstick alert, for some reason. Another reason I give this a 5: I usually shy away from dark colours cos they tend to leave stains on my teeth, which makes me nervous if I’m at an event. This formula stays put with zero transfer and has brilliant colour payoff. It’s not the most moisturising but is definitely comfortable to wear. Added bonus: it lasts even through food and drink. What’s there not to love?

Have I got the wrong batch or what… It has lots of lumps in the product. Got #28 and love the colour

I should admit it’s the first time I buy three lipsticks of the same brand. I definitely fell in love with Bourjois thanks to this line of products, and wish to try their full catalogue one step at time. This far, they didn’t fail a single thing!
So, here are my choices (for now)
17 ROSE MILLESIME – From the Evening chic line, I got this adorable rose for about 4 euros from Amazon.it. I’m definitely into not rose lipsticks as they look terrible on me (and don’t make me start with nudes..) and don’t have a clue about that whole undertones thing. The only rose item that satisfied me like, ever, was a kind of indian rose thing I stole from my mother in law, from an italian brand and you know what? It was the only colour discontinued from their permanent collection, because yeah, f**k you customers. So, back to Rose Millesime. It is pink. Whatever. I don’t know what to say. I freakin’ like it and I would never like a rose colour except this one. That should say something. Oh, it doesn’t last ages, but we humans don’t either. It gently fades away tho, leaving a sweet healthy hint of pink on the lips,
14 PRETTY PRUNE – I’m always in for a deep red. I dare to say that if somebody told me to use a single colour for my whole life, I’d go for a deep red. The matter the better. This wasn’t the case: it’s not matte at all, but at the same time there is no tawdry shimmery appearance, it is..normal. The name could make you think is more on the purple side but the line includes real prune colours, and this one is definitely not, which is fine for me. Doesn’t last ages (it doesn’t have the 12 hours claim on the box as T34 and others do – I noticed it today after months!) and fades less gracefully. The formula isn’t the brightest, let’s fairly say it’s the worst of the 3 I own, as it’s quite runny and takes ages to dry. Apparently Bourjois has a problem with deep shades – I was interested in the famous Grand Cru but descriptions of the bad formula made me desist.
T34 CHERRY MY CHERIE – This one, guys, is MY STAR. I stopped counting people who asked me what it was, how the hell could it stay after a greasy dinner without smudging, and taking pictures of the lipstick case because they couldn’t correctly pronounce the brand name. It’s definitely my 2016 lipstick and will buy it all over again – I originally paid it 5 euros but will pay full price now that I know it is marvellous. It is a classic red – ‘cherry’ colours usually are way darker, this one is a pretty common colour, yet I failed to find one as performing as this. Stays for hours, it’s smooth and pretty, and fades gracefully leaving a flush of colour on the lips.
The packaging is sleek, elegant and looks more expensive than it is. I got the three of them on a special discount but I would pay the full price once they’re finished.

I got this in 2 colours – Peche Cocooning (#33) and Entry VIP (#35). The packaging is lightweight plastic with a pretty accurate swatch of colour on one end. There is no see through panel to check out the actual colour which I think is a necessary factor, atleast in my case I like to take a look at the actual lipstick in the packaging.
The peche cocooning colour is a nice peachy neutral which is fit for everyday wear. Texture is creamy but I cant really describe it as matte finish, its has an almost mousse-y finish which is very light and comfortable. Entry VIP is another great girly everyday wear lipstick with a watermelon pink shade which can easily be turned to a party look with a couple of layers of application.

I have Brun Cosmopolitan, a darkish brown. If you like browns and want a somewhat bold or vampy look, try this. It’s not an everyday brown, the colour is a lot more special. It is fairly smooth and quite moisturising, sheerer than a cream texture but more opaque and lasting than a gloss. You need a liner and if you are prone to lipstick-bleed you will have to prime first and probably blot but it’s worth it. It doesn’t last as long as Bourjois claim before needing a re-touch, probably three or four hours. I’m NC25-30 and it really suits my complexion.

One of the best lipsticks. I have dry skin, fair skin and my perfect shade is 34 – Cherry my cherrie. Beautiful bright red with blue undertone. It really lasts long on my lips, however, not for 12 hours, maybe for 7. I like it more than MAC ones, because it doesnt dry out my lips and pigmentation is great. Is it worth for that price. However, i dont like packaging – plastic looks cheap and is big for purse.

I love love love this lipstick!! I have this in no.33 “peche cocooning”. I have finished two full tubes and will most definitely purchase my third! The texture is amazing. Goes on comfortably, not too greasy or too dry. Just perfect like a buttery balm. And although it doesn’t last 12 hrs as stated, it does a decent enough job if you’re not drinking or eating. Did I mention that I love the texture? This color is lovely as well. A slightly dark peach/pink. I have soooo many lipsticks with the bulk of them being from MAC but I find myself reaching for this all the time. It’s perfect for daily wear… Not too out there but not boring either.

I got this to replace my old Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel. Got colour 33, Peche Cocooning. I like that it’s the closest match to my old Sweet Kiss Naturel in 03 Rose Sensuel.
As of now I’m still using testing it to see if it’s as moisturising and natural as the older formula (which at this moment does not feel as moisturising but still not matte).
Just realised that I already have Bite Cin Cin which is a closer colour to Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel in 03 Rose Sensuel than this one. Will not repurchase because I’m switching to natural and thus prefer Bite.
