I love their line of beauty products. So when this came out and receiving so many great reviews I went to try. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. I have extremely dry and sensitive lips and will pay the price if it will not dry my lips and hydrate them. This was not the case with this one. It felt like it would glide on smoothly and creamy and stay that way. Wrong. It went on smoothly but immediately became matte and dry. The color selection is beautiful and wears well for about 6 hours despite eating and drinking. But my lips were dried to the point they peeled and hurt. But for the price and claim to hydrate and help lips over time, it disappoints.
However, if you don’t have dry lips it is a great product!

Armani lipsticks have soon become my HG lipstick! I used to love my Chanel and CdP long lasting lipsticks but these GA lipsticks are far far superior in quality. I will have to say though that Dior and Estee Lauder lipsticks are still hard to beat with respect to the buttery soft smooth texture but of course they do not last as long as GA lipsticks (or any as the one mentioned aboved). I have this GA Rouge Ecstasy lipstick in #402 Teatro. On me it’s a true bright red with a hint of orange. I usually do not like lipsticks with orange tones as I prefer the blue based ones, but this one for some reason was just perfection. It instantly brightened up my face and looked wonderful with just liner and a hint of blush. The texture was awesome for a long lasting lipstick. It stayed on for over 6 hours and whilst it faded after eating/drinking, it left a gorgeous true to the lipstick colour stain evenly on my lips. I applied the Revlon Colorburst 008 Peiony on top of the stain and it looked great too. I will be purchasing more of these in the near future. The packaging is wondrous! For reference, I am chinese with NC20 skintone, GA Maestro/Lum Silk in #3, Chantecaille Future Skin in Alabaster, with dark hair and eyes.
#400 Four Hundred: This is a gorgeous shade of true red. It is more for special occasions because it may be too much for the office but I guess if you dab it and tone it down signficantly then it’s doable. For office however I prefer to wear Rouge Ecstasy in #402 Teatro. However, this is not to say that i wouldn’t wear this to the office either. Am loving it because it instantly brightens up my face and goes with everything.
#304 Heat: Rouge Ecstasy #304 Heat is a nice subdued orange leaning towards coral. Looks greaet with mostly olive green e/s and rose-toned blush like the #10 sheer blush.

I love all the Armani lipsticks and glosses. This one stays on so well however does occasionally dry out my lips. I apply lip balm before applying the lipstick as I get cracked lips in winter, this seems to do the trick
