Generally, I use one lipstick only once since I usually get bored and want something new. That is why I will not buy this lipstick again. The fuchsia/pink shade suited my skin and it is also very usefull since I am wearing lots of pinks and violets in the summer.

Submitting to the fervor that surrounds Rouge Coco like an online nimbus, I picked up Rose Taffetas, a magenta, rather cool, deep enough to skirt soft reds (see Chanel Sexy Rouge Allure for comparison), with a minute iridescence scattered throughout to mimic the sheen of satin rather than outright shimmer. It flatters my very cool, black-and-white coloring with ease. Based on my isolated experience with Rose Taffetas (no doubt there is some variation from shade to shade), I find the formula falls short of anticipation. If Peter Phillips designed Coco Rouge to break the lipgloss crowd into Proper Lipstick, I am not in all honesty its target audience. Though this is one of the more daring shades in the lineup (half the line coils redundantly around peaches/nudes/pinks), as a red-lipstick girl, comfortable intensity is a contradiction in terms, a passive-aggressive bright. Layered, it wears down unevenly. And yes, I considered the reds—and found them greasy. It’s good lipstick, all the same, and it ultimately serves as a softcore red, to welcome the spring, with pastel washes on the eyes.

The Rouge Coco line is so hydrating that the lipsticks go on comfortably and stay throughout the day without drying out my lips. I am used to lip gloss because I never liked the feeling of a lipstick, but Chanel converted me.
This color is an intense pink/fuchsia that is a good alternative to the classic red. I can wear this alone without any other makeup and still look put-together and sophisticated. My lips are naturally red and plump so this color simply makes them pop out more.
