Every day that I’ve worn this, I’ve gotten compliments left and right. Initially I was worried that it looked too brown and “dead” on my lips, but it softens to a mauve-y, reddish nude and compliments my neutral skintone. Never have to wear a lip pencil with this, which I love. It makes your lips look plush, like velvet.
This is a very My Lips But Better shade, and the weartime is fine for a bullet lipstick. I carry this with me wherever I go — for reference, imagine the Mademoiselle shade but more brown-red, and matte. Different, but similar and both are amazingly gorgeous.
And the packaging — beautiful! It pops out when you press the Chanel insignia, very classy but in a mod sort of way.

The vertical lines on my lips, not above my lips, are becoming a bit more pronounced and cream or matte formula lipsticks can make the appearance of these lines more pronounced. Unfortunately, I like matte formulas. Of the offerings of matte formulas I’ve tried, this gives the lips the most youthful appearance. The formula is not drying. The shade is perfect for my coloring: light neutral to golden with green eyes and copperish hair color. Temptalia calls it mauve. I see very little pink in it, but the color can look slightly pinker with a pinker toned lipliner. Depending on whether I want the color to look pinker or a bit more warm neutral, I use either Chanel lipliner in #5 Nude or YSL #13 Nude Beige. This is a classy subtle shade that doesn’t scream for attention and won’t make you look like you “tried too hard”.
