I tried this in 804 Mauvy Nude and 806 Pink Brown
NCO 20 C1 20beige pale slightly muted olive skin tone
804 mauvy nude looks a bit too purple on me. I find it to look a bit unflattering. It doesn’t wash me out but I find it to lean a bit too cool and look kind of “off” on me.
806 pink brown. (favorite) This is a dried rose petal color that shows up pretty dark on me once its set. This can work as a daytime glam to amp up the makeup look. Its not nude but it isn’t as intense as a red. Its perfect for those who wants some color to their face but is afraid to go all out with a bright red. This color isn’t brown whatsoever and is a medium rose on my skin. This is my favorite of the bunch because my boyfriend loves this color on me he says it looks better than bright reds / vampy reds.
The inner rim of the lips will fade first as with any lipstick but this last quite a long time. I can have a full meal and drinks with this lipstick with little transfer and only need to touch up the inside part of lips. It also can be patchy where it’ll be perfect on the outer rim and missing in the inside. I usually have this problem with a lot of formulas where the inner rim of my lips don’t apply lipstick well.this formula is versatile. You can wear them in layers depending on the intensity you want. They are lightweight and very pigmented. Doe foot is one of my favorite part of this lipstick. Its so easy to use and to draw within the lipline. The texture of this formula is very watery and dries fairly fast. Its a pleasure to apply! The other downside is that this can be drying but it does not make my lips peel like other liquid lips.
