This lipstick is so creamy and is really pigmented and bright. It lasts for ages and doesnt smudge easily. The only problem I have with it is the actual colour. Its a really orangey red and it isnt the best colour for my skin tone, it would look much better on darker skin than mine but is still lovely for the summer months due to the bright and fun colour.
The packaging is nice and simple, and the lid always stays shut – which is too much to ask from some brands. The product smells lovely, and the actual scent is really subtle.
The only reason i wouldnt repurchase is because the colour isnt very wearable for me, but i love topshop lipsticks and own other colours which i wear much more often.

I have the color Mink, tbh they are overpriced fir drugstore lipstick and you can find cheaper and better lipsticks, the lipstick isnt bad just you can get better ones

I wasn’t even considering buying this lipstick when I first saw it because I’ve always leaned towards a deeper, slightly darker red colour, but when Topshop brought out their 5 year anniversary products, which are literally just permanent items but in rose gold packaging, I was an absolute goner and I knew I had to get something. Out of the lipstick shades on offer in the collection, I already had Beguiled and Innocent from the normal line, and the only other shade that vaguely interested me was Rio Rio.
Oh my God I don’t know how I managed to miss this before. It is the most gorgeous, bright, almost orange-toned red. It is the perfect colour for summer and I cannot wait to wear it all the time. It is probably the most creamy and pigmented of all the Topshop lipsticks I own (and I own quite a lot) and it is just the most incredible colour.
If you love a vibrant orange-red lip, this is an absolute must and for £8, I couldn’t recommend it more.

This is my go-to red. What I really like about it is that the shade is not too formal- its the sort of red you can wear for both day and night. It applies easily straight from the bullet and stays put for hours. Doesnt feel dry or uncomfortable on the lips, and that is surprising for me as my lips often get dry. Looks great with my NC15 skin but to be honest I think it would suit all skin tones. Love it.

I’ve always wanted to try an orange-red, or what my mother would call “Chinese red”, lipstick but because of my Asian skin leaning more towards the yellow side and blue-based lipsticks always looking better I thought I would never get the chance. Enter TopShop’s Rio Rio – think of it as an coral-red with a touch of blue for wearability; it’s a beautiful color, especially for Summer, once it sets, it almost has a saturated Popsicle-like look to it, like you ate one too many Popsicles and they stained your lips a deep orangey-red. Although it’s listed as being “matte” I would say “semi-matte” because there is a slight luster moving towards being a cream, so it doesn’t have the longevity of a true matte but still has a good lasting power. I highly recommend if your always wanted to try a orange/coral based red but were afraid to or just love red and want to add to your collection. P.S. -looks to be a good dupe of Nars Heat Wave.

I have a few Topshop lipsticks from their official make up range and this is by far my favourite!
This red is more bright than the likes of a more ‘dark red’, it is more of a bright red coral shade. It is perfect to get away with in a Summer, I always feel your average darker red fits in better to style in the Winter season.
It is very well pigmented and lasts long in the day time (I sometimes underestimate the quality of a chain who doesn’t expertise in cosmetics who has a cosmetics label) and was well worth the 8 pounds I bought it for! It glides on your lips softly and doesn’t dry them out. It makes them look much plumper also if thats what you like in a lipstick. It also gives off a nice matte finish.
