11 rose blossom is a lovely color. Its a medium slightly muted berry/plum rose. If you want to wear a dark wine lip, but not brave enough to actually wear a straight up dark wine lipstick, this is is the shade for you. Its a wearable muted plummy rose that you can wear everyday.

Many of the reviewers have described this as a vibrant colour, which I’m sure is very accurate if you have very light pigmentation to your lips. Now I’m about the palest person you will ever meet in your life with chestnut hair and light blue eyes but my lips are very pigmented naturally, a reddish plum. So, this lipstick doesn’t come off as bright even in the slightest. It’s a perfect mid tone neutral pink with the slightest cool undertone, barely noticeable to me. I’m a warm/neutral and can’t pull off many cool colours but this one is stunning. Basically it’s a MLBB rosey pink. It applies creamy then dries down to a semi matte long lasting finish. I don’t find it drying at all. I look forward to trying more colours in this line.

I thought this lipstick was going to be my perfect HG bright pink rose. when I pulled the tube out of the box and rolled the lippie up into the light and saw it, I was love-struck. When I swatched it on my hand I thought “YES”. I was getting very excited….. Then I finally applied the gorgeous untainted brand-new lipstick to my lips (I hate destroying the perfection of an unused lipstick. I am weird) and I liked how it felt; rich, creamy, dense. I was in love. Until I looked up at my face in the mirror. BLECH!! who was that strange lady looking back at me?
I can’t figure out if this Rose blossom is too cool for me or too plummy for me. Plum works on me, cool, blue tones generally do not so it must be the former. But I really can’t tell. I am perplexed by how this beauty could make look so unbeautiful. Colors like this make me look OLD.
Thoughts: I may be too pale for this color right now, I didn’t have the right other makeup on with it. Those are really the only things I think could change how this lipstick appeared on me today. So hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get a tan and see what the heck is up. Otherwise this beauty is getting swapped to someone who can love it in the way I wanted to love it.
I was in a rush after my failed trial with rose blossom and needed to quickly finish getting ready to go out so I put on my fail-safe true rose color NARS tolede and everything was cool. I was just bummed I didn’t get to rock a new lippie out tonight.
I still have Guava and Crimson to try from this line. Oh boy I hope I am dazzled because I freaking love this formula and love those sleek black tubes.

I bought this as I was looking for a deeper pink. I tried it on in store and really liked it. I’ve actually never worn it because once I got home and tried it I found it way too dark for me. I tried it sparingly but it’s just a bit too dark for me. It’s like a dark berry/light aubergine/eggplant colour. Might give it another go this winter though.

Definetly not for me, way too bold/bright. Im into the more subtle hues, but with full color.
Very pigmented and highly good for the moisture factor.

Lovely colour, not too bright but not a bland colour either. Can wear daytime and night. Relatively long wearing, opaque colour. Not drying. Beautiful deep pink that I couldn’t find at MAC (Thank you BB for doing more pinks and naturals!). The price is a bit steep, £18 is a lot for a lipstick, but to get the perfect colour, exactly what I was looking for, and for the quality I think it’s worth it. Definitely buy again!

This is a very pretty color and looks nice and feels good. I have never written a review but after reading the utterly ridiculous so called review from the previous person I felt compelled to write one as an offset. To say her review is ignorant is an understatement.

I love the color of Rose Blossom, but it may be too bold for many, so I’m giving it a 4.
Rose Blossom looks fairly tame, even bordering on bland, in the tube, but on my moderately pigmented lips, it morphs into a clear, bright deep rosy pink.
I have a weakness for bright lipsticks, and I own many fuchsia ones, but Rose Blossom is very different from anything else I own. It’s not a shy color, but it’s more deep than bright, if that makes any sense.
I’d buy Rose Blossom again for the color alone, but the quality is also excellent.
Rose Blossom goes on creamy and smooth, offering fairly opaque coverage, without feeling heavy or dry. I like to wear it with MAC Beet or Trimmed in Pink liner, with a drop of a pink-toned Dazzleglass on top.Wear is good, but not stellar.
I’m very impressed by Rose Blossom, and I’ll buy it again, though at $22.00, it’s rather pricey.
SAD NOTE: As of March 2012, all Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Estee Lauder, MAC, and Prescriptives items are “will not repurchase” for me, not matter how much I like them. This regrettable situation is the result of the Estee Lauder company’s decision to abandon its ban on animal tests, and contract for such tests in China. As an animal lover/respecter, I will no longer do business with this company’s brands, no matter how otherwise appealing their products are to me.
