I really love this line of lipsticks. This color wasn’t for me…too pink but very moisturizing

*NOTE* The only reason I would not repurchase this lipstick is for the fact that the Revolution line has been discontinued plus I own 2 other almost identical colors. 🙂
Obsessed is a very bright cool toned pink lipstick with a slightly creamy finish. It is opaque in one swipe and despite looking kind of scary bright, it translates so nicely on my lips and immediately brightens up my face. It is very comfortable to wear, does not accentuate any lip lines and wears down beautifully. The Revolution line does not exist anymore, but I know UD makes Obsessed in the Vice line, which is actually even better than Revolution!

Eek, got this as a Christmas gift, Barbie pink! I give it two lipsticks just because I’m sure it would be pretty on someone with the right coloring. On me this is too vibrant.

Bubblegum pink, light blue undertone, and no scent. It lasts for about 4-5 hours and feels comfortable on my lips. Love the packaging!

*I specifically reactivated this account to shout my love of UD Revolution lipsticks. I’m choosing a few specific shades, though the formula review is the same for the ENTIRE line, in my experience. *
Obsessed is the lightest blue-based Revolution shade I own. It’s a baby pink and wears the most translucently on me(outside of actual revolution Sheers). I also find it a bit glossier and shinier than other UD shades I own. I do love this one though; looks great straight from the tube, as opposed to applying with a brush, and complements a more bold eye/pronounced contouring look. I can layer this shade a few times without it looking cakey on me like a few other Revolution shades I’ve used. There is no shimmer or iridescence to this shade, either.
So much thought and quality control went into the creation of this line–a full range of conditioning lipsticks, in various tones of opacity and translucence, in a bunch of shades that are really fun for experimenting AND for understated daytime looks. The price is right for such a quality product, and I’ve never detected any scents or flavours.
((All Urban Decay products are vegetarian and cruelty-free; some are specifically vegan. Revolution lipsticks are only specified as cruelty-free and vegetarian.))

Obsessed – I’m just a little obsessed with you! You are the perfect match for so many make-up looks and look so good with my pale skin, blonde hair and green eyes – I think we were made for each other.
I always fall for those bubblegum pinks, cool-toned bright baby pinks – if that’s you too then your’e bound to love this one. Obsessed has a creamy moisturisng formula that is very comfortable on, one to two layers of this provides decent coverage. It doesn’t wear off in gloopy goopy bits either which is a bonus as I can’t stand lipsticks that ball up and do that.
Wear time isn’t amazing, I get a few hours out of this one but find the lipstick I have from the same range in Streak wears longer for some reason. I quite like touching up lippy though so it’s not a hardship. The sleek metal packaging is quite luxe too. I’m very tempted to buy more from this range.

Obsessed is the first lipstick I’ve ever tried by Urban Decay, normally I tend to stick with the eyeshadows, but I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed by this lipstick!
It is a gorgeous, cool toned bright baby pink shade, because when I try lipsticks by a brand for the first time I always stick with reliable pinks, they work best with my skin tone. It has a gorgeous, luminous shine and finish to it, although the texture is a little over creamy and can be a bit slippery to use. It wears really well though, it lasted a few hours before needing any reapplication.
I also love the fact that the price is 50 pence less than MAC lipsticks and yet the packaging is so much better than MAC. I think they really need to up their game when you look at how well UD are doing it. It has like a dimmed sliver case with rivets and the lipstick itself comes in a pretty purple tube.
Overall, whilst its not topping some of the pinks MAC do, it is very impressive for my first try of UD lipsticks. Well worth a recommend and a repurchase.

While I like the color, the texture is very meh.
Color: for some reason, the tester in the store swatched more vibrant, so I thought this was going to be a brighter shade. Turns out that it’s a very pale color, a pretty light pink with a white undertone. I like it. Very natural and goes amazingly with a smoky eye.
Texture: hard to apply evenly. It feels dry, and applies streaky. I have to rub my lips together 2-3 times after application, to try and make it look more even. It does eventually look ok, but it takes work.
Lasting power: so-so. It doesn’t last through a meal, but if I don’t touch anything with my lips, I do get about 2-3 hours of wear time.
It is not drying to my lips, but I prefer to wear a little bit of gloss on top just to make it look smoother.
It has no scent (which to me is a minus because I like scented products, but of course I wouldn’t deduct points for that).

This wore much the same way MAC Saint Germain did on me that is not good. I am Nw20, almost black hair (3n), brown eyes, rosey lips. This just sat on my lips not doing ANYTHING for my look. I tried to make it work, but it wasn’t turning out. It is much more PINK than I had hoped and just didn’t do anything for my complexion.

What the hell, how did I resist these for so long!?! I tried a few shades on my hand in store and thought the color selection was lovely and the pigmentation was A+ but I was put off by the price tag ($22 standard) and wasn’t specifically looking for a new lipstick. After giving F-Bomb another try, on my lips instead of my hand, I was amazed. And now I feel wonderful about buying these and wouldn’t worry about the pricetag.
The claims for this are all true. “Creamy, badass luxury. Our Pigment Infusion Systemâ„¢ delivers insane color payoff with creamy shine, Maxi-Lipâ„¢ plumps and nourishing oils leave lips cushiony soft.” The glide is creamy and smooth but not buttery. The pigmentation is extreme and the finish is satiny and looks creamy. Now, for me, the most important is not killing my lips’ moisture… this just melded with my lips with a soft, powdery feel when my lips meet. The oils are wonderful for my lips and don’t cause the lippie to wander into cracks and crevices or outside where it was applied.
So, there are bright pinks and baby pinks, but this is a bright baby pink. A satiny Barbie pink, for real. Unlike most of the other baby pinks in my collection or that I’ve tested, this doesn’t have a grey or dusty undertone. It’s not a color I would wear in any degree of regular, but I loved wearing it after testing it through Sephora. Each color I’ve tried on my lips (even the not-suitable-for-me Bang) has been consistent texturally and pleasant to wear over lightly-balmed lips.
I really loved the older lipstick packaging with the dagger and filigree work on the outside of the case, but the Revolution lipstick packaging is so sleek and wonderful that I don’t miss it overmuch. The lipstick doesn’t feel weak in the tube so I’m not afraid of it breaking off when bustling around inside my purse.
