I brought Mandarin Mash 300, an intense bright orange. This is a high pigment, super shiny liquid lipstick that is very thick and sticky and clings to lips well. The look is absolutely stunning for a dramatic pop of color and a vinyl like plastic shine. Texture is comfortable but stays sticky and doesn’t dry down like a matte liquid lip does. Stays put perfectly for hours and hours, lasting longer than my YSL Vinyl lip creams (which are more easy to apply and are thinner, less sticky). But if you kiss or touch it in anyway it will smear and move. If you wear long hair plus this on a windy day your hair will stick to your lips just like a sticky gloss will. Two coats gives me intense coverage on my lightly pigmented lips, although I have to work at it as it doesn’t cover as evenly as I’d like at first, and the small applicator doesn’t help. Lasts through eating – the center wears off, but as soon as I press and rub my lips together its back to perfect without needing a touchup. Doesn’t dry out my lips. Wears off fairly evenly to leave a pretty stain. Has a light vanilla cake like scent which I really enjoy. Choosing your shade is quick as you can see the color through the clear tube.
One star off for the slightly uneven coverage and the applicator that doesn’t work well with my fuller lips. If you have slim lips you might love it as you won’t get product overload?? Anyway, for me the tip is so small and rounded that I have to re-dip and re-coat different areas over and cover to get coverage, then do it again to get the coverage even. Getting the lip-line crisp takes time and effort but it can be done with concentration. I’d consider buying again in another color, but probably I’d look for something easier to work with considering its not cheap.
