Mandarin O is a great shade of these. I’ve tried a light nude – patchy city!! I made sure I had mandarin (over a liner) on for an hour or 2 before purchase. Also I like unblossomed or whatever it’s called unbloomed maybe <<< eta: RIPENED I’m an idiot>>> (sorry!!) — light shimmer lavender! It’s very nice! I carry around like a balm when I’m wearing it that day. Mandarin o is darker coral, so you do have to take more care when applying. Pulls more pink than orange on my currently darker than usual nw25 skin, and looks scrumptious. Moisture matte very APT description!!! Sheer wash of moisturizing matte (yet still rich) color!!!

I do love the MAC Powder Kiss formula, Mandarin O is the second colour I have tried. Apparently it is one of the most popular shades, at least in Australia, as it is sold out at most MAC counters/stores! I was lucky enough to get my hands on it, and am so glad I did. The shade is a beautiful warm coral, it pulls more pink than me than it does orange, but it definitely has some warm orange tones in it. I find this shade very wearable, the powder kiss formula gives it a diffused and stain-like look, which definitely makes the colour suitable for day-to-day wear. The formula is very comfortable to wear, with a matte finish but doesn’t feel at all drying on the lips. It doesn’t emphasise lip lines or texture. It blends and layers very easily. It lasts throughout a day of work, but will need topping up after a big meal. It lasts through drinking and light snacking however. I find this shade suits warm skin tones particularly well. I love this colour and can see why it is so popular! I would definitely recommend this lipstick – and the rest of the Powder Kiss line.

This is a new kind of lipstick which MAC have only just introduced. It’s a very light matte and feels lovely on but doesn’t apply evenly, it applies patchily. The shade, Mandarin O, is quite like Tropic Tonic and Vegas Volt in the tube but on the lips it’s a deeper pink.
The reason that I’ve scored it so low is that the staying power on the lips is dreadful. One coffee and it’s gone without even a hint of colour left behind which is so disappointing.
I would not repurchase.
