I can’t speak for the other shades, but the one in Coral Crush that I got in an Ipsy bag is pretty bad. For one, the name ‘coral’ doesn’t really translate here – it’s a bright, unflattering, Nicki Minaj-esque pink. It also wears off easily, contrary to its claim of giving ‘long-lasting colour’.
Most offensive is the application and wear. It settles into lip lines and looks very uneven. I can only wear this lightly applied and smoothed out into a stain; adding a second layer makes it extremely chalky and patchy on my lips.
There are a few acceptable things about this product, although none that would justify intentional purchase.
First, the packaging is cute and fairly compact. The latter part is because there’s not enough product inside to justify the retail price for either the individual crayon, or for the set.
Second, I can manage to use this as a bright cream blush. The product is emollient enough that I don’t need to melt it into a moisturiser and transfer it to a different container.

I got the color Rose Romance. It’s quite a pale one and I’m more pale complected, so it worked nicely on me. I really love the ease of application, but don’t wear it without balm. I find it relatively moisturizing, but no more than your average lipstick. It’s opaque. It’s comfortable. I likely won’t repurchase, as it’s not unbelievable, but the color was definitely appealing.

Rose Romance: The color was wonderful but the lip product didn’t stay longer on my lips. It had a tingling feeling when it was applied. After an hour, my lips would start to chap up and the residue of the lip color would stay. To apply the lip product was a piece of cake and you don’t have to sharpen it, it was a twist-up! Overall, I will continue to use it but I would not buy this product.

I got this in the shade Rose Romance.
Price:
I got this with my ipsy bag so I can’t complain about the price at all.
Packaging:
I LOVE the packaging for this product! I love how it’s retractable especially. I’ve purchased other lip products that have the similar look, but you would need to sharpen them which can be a hassle. They should opt for packaging like this.
Texture:
It glides on the lips, so it’s easy to really build up the color.
Smell:
It smells funky to me. It’s not in a bad way, just… Weird. It’s like slightly minty but you can also smell the balm in it.
Pros:
-3-in-1, lip gloss, balm, and color
-good pigmentation/color payoff
-affordable
-great packaging
Cons:
-not much staying power, even with liner
-settles into lines
Comments/impressions:
I wanted to love this product. I really did. I love the premise of it— balm, lip gloss AND a lip color?! It would have been perfect! However, I found that this settled easily into my lines. Don’t even think about putting this stuff on your lips if you didn’t properly exfoliate! I like the minty feeling it gives when you put it on. I guess that’s the balm part of it in action. This color is the perfect pink nude shade and would go beautifully with a dramatic eye. I personally wouldn’t repurchase this, but maybe you’ll have better luck with it!

I got this in Rose Romance and I don’t like it. The packaging is nice. It’s a retractable crayon that gives good control. But, it’s not that moisturizing and I feel like the color isn’t that great either. It looks so bland. I feel like plain Jane instead of my usual happy-go-lucky self.

I have truly enjoyed this lipstick, crayon, lip liner and gloss all in one. The pigment is solid and it is moisturizing with easy application.
It is my go to every day color I have in my pocket or purse with at all times! I look forward to trying more colors. The quality is great! The price even better!!

I also got this in the bright pink Coral Crush shade. At first, I thought it was awful and didn’t want to look like Nikki Minaj, but I realized it does a great job of moisturizing and tinting my lips. It has a great texture and it lasts forever! So what I started doing is to put the Pop crayon on first, and top with a brownish/flesh matte color, like ELF praline. It blends together beautifully and looks like a slight berry shade.

Am I doing something wrong? The other reviewers don’t seem to be experiencing the same lameness from this product as I am.
I too received this in my Ipsy glam bag, but in Rose Romance instead of Coral Crush. It’s a ashy pink shade that’s pretty dull and unattractive, and makes my lips blend into my fair-to-tan face. Applied, it is a bit brighter, but after about an hour of wear it sort of clumps up on my lips and looks so, so, so gross. It makes it look like the top, colorless layer of skin on my lips is peeling off.
The first time I wore this was before work, so I went through the first half of my shift helping customers while looking like I had pinkish crud on my mouth. Embarrassed and disappointed.

Pop Beauty’s new Pouty Pop Crayons are “extra nourishing balms that gently bounce onto lips, creating a plumped and pillowy pout and leaves them with luscious, long lasting colour in a super smooth texture.” These freshly released lip crayons are not sold individually at this time, but in a set of six 3 gram (.1 oz) crayons. This set sells for $25 USD (£18). I received a full sized Pouty Pop Crayon in the shade Coral Crush in my July Ipsy Bag. Pop Beauty products can be bought at Ulta, Duane Reade, and Asos in America, and Debenhams in England, this brand’s home country. I cannot find information on where this lip product was made or whether or not Pop Beauty tests on animals.
Packaging for Pop Beauty’s Pouty Pop Crayon is quite cute. This pencil style lip product comes in a color matched plastic tube. The product and brand names are printed on the tube in black lettering, along with several black flowers. The base of this crayon twists to scroll the product up and down. A clear cap tops off Pop’s lip crayon. Cute and functional, Pop Beauty’s packaging is pleasing.
I was excited when I received this lip crayon. Initially, I didn’t love the Pouty Pop Crayon, but it grew on me. It seems as though Pop Beauty was trying to mimic Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains, right down to the flavor. This lip crayon feels like a lightweight lipstick, its quite moist and comfortable, but it doesn’t feel like a balm by any means. Pop’s Pouty Pop Lip Crayon glides on to the lips, application is completely foolproof. I was really surprised by how much color is laid down in one stroke, when working with what’s claimed to be a balm I expect sheer color payoff, but Pop Beauty’s crayon goes on just about opaque in one swipe. Wear isn’t impressive though, I only get about an hour of wear. The Pouty Pop Crayon transfers onto almost anything, luckily there’s a nice residual stain that lasts another hour or so. The Pouty Pop Crayon has a slight minty scent and flavor.
Coral Crush is intense! This is a bright, almost hot pink with a coral undertone. I love all corals, but I tend to prefer more orange based corals, so Coral Crush takes me a little out of my comfort zone. What I really love about Coral Crush is the pretty satin finish, the sheen is very subtle, it can pass for matte in some lights. This shade doesn’t have a speck of shimmer in it.
I really like Pop Beauty’s Pouty Pop Lip Crayon. This isn’t a perfect product, the wear time is pretty short, but I don’t mind reapplication that much. I really appreciate the comfort of this lip product, especially considering how much color payoff it has. Coral Crush is gorgeous, a super bright pink coral. I hope Pop Beauty eventually releases these individually, but I think the set is worth buying if you’re a lipstick junkie. You get a decent shade selection and the price is right (6/$25 = $4.16 per lip crayon). Pop Beauty’s Pouty Pop Lip Crayon has helped me get over my awful first impression of the brand, I look forward to trying more of their products.

I got this in my July Ipsy bag in the coral shade. To me, this shade is more pink than coral. It is also quite pigmented. I like the texture of this crayon, but it needs to be used with balm or gloss to keep it looking fresh. It was okay, but I would not have purchased this product on my own.
