I ordered a couple of neutral color mineral lipsticks from ELF’s website to try them out and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these lipsticks. The lipstick swatches on the website were deceptive for the colors look even better in person (and on) than I thought they would be. The lipsticks have a soft texture, blend well and are very moisturizing but the color is not long lasting so you are going to have to reapply often.
On to my review of this particular lipstick. Pouty Petal is a very light pinky-mauve lipstick and as a woman of color this lipstick gives me a wonderful light pink color to my lips which I adore. This is lipstick is ever so slightly darker than Nicely Nude and is one of the best pink-based nudes I have tried and I am very delighted with my purchase.
