Purchased a set of 3 colors off the NYX website during one of their sales. Colors are vivid, formula a little glossy and applies easily, but just as easily it comes right off the instant you take a sip or bite of something. Didn’t even find it left behind a slight hint of color – just vanished totally. I much prefer the NYX matte shades which last much longer. I’ll continue to use these once in awhile, but wouldn’t purchase the gel lipsticks again.

I love this lipstick! I am always on the look out for a nudish pink lipstick that feels good on my lips, not too dry, not too greasy or sticky. I want something that has a little shine to it, but not too much. Well, NYX hit it out of the park with these, I think they are so great, and the shade 12 is my favorite go to every day nude. I like the slim container, and angled tip, makes it easy to reapply on the go, and the gel formula lasts a decent amount of time on my lips. I have repurchased, and I will again and again!
Top Review by Danny. from UK and Denmark. From start to finish this product is extremely good and makes for a amazing lipstick to match or complement your current outfit, party or anything from a sipping dress to blush, round out your look and life. These are silicone gel and they are great to match any lipstick that you are having or anyone you use at all times. I wear them and then start cutting things down a bit, and they start to gel as I have thinner lips then begin to stick out in my face, my lips need less while they are still there, and I have only to quickly stop cutting something down and squeeze more into my eye area. I love this lipstick, honestly. I like the tube, especially for those of you who use a little more soft lipsticks. Its not that thick on my lips I think, but more of a thin tube without the drawers. I just feel like I have to stretch them on my cheekbones to get them. I love the color and it flows a little bit while you are doing this. Sometimes people can wear more than the whole package and not have it set too low as your lip gloss gets quite low on them, I just love when these set over my cheeks. For me, it fits over all of my skin and my lip gloss or my neutral complexion or my “blank look”, so it lasts about a week. This formula’s skin is perfectly medium and healthy without looking like big amounts of skin. The only significant downsides I have are my nose for me, and the feeling of needing to look a bit soft in front of the mirror, but I love having to wear around my lips just as much as you do in front of the mirror and applying soft moisture. But after 15 minutes of wearing, I am able to very easily get a release feeling. I especially like the oval formula, if you use less light skin then it is more thin then sheer but because of that square shape your lips will likely stick out all the way. I hate this lipstick I suppose, but I will definitely wear them every day for a week.

I have this in Pastel Dust, and I think it’s amazing! This is what I wanted from Too Faced Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss, but definitely didn’t get. This applies evenly, and the color lasts a shockingly long time. This is one of the longest wearing lipsticks I’ve had, and this surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to think this was beyond mediocre, but I think it’s excellent. In Pastel Dust, I can easily compare the wear-time to MAC lipsticks. This lipstick feels plump, soft, and smooth. It doesn’t dry out my lips at all, and it maintains its color. CVS had these for buy 1 get 1 50%off and I can’t believe what a great deal this was. I will definitely purchase more Plush Gel Lipstick!

I purchased this in the color Dime Piece. It is a nice light peachy pink shade which works well with my very pale skin tone. I usually love NYX lip products, in fact they are my favorite drug store brand. This lipstick was just ok for me. First of all, I do like the packaging – it small enough for travel or in a purse. But I paid around $7 which I think is a bit much for a small drug store lippie. The formula glides on nicely and feels moisturizing on the lips. I would say it has medium pigmentation. The lasting power is actually quite good and I am someone who has issues with lip product staying on. However, it has a weird smell and taste – very chemically. I noticed it when I first applied it and every time since. I blot it a bit and that helps. Too bad because I do like this otherwise. I will probably continue to use it but wouldn’t repurchase from this line.

Sorry to be the Debbie Downer of the group but I was disappointed by this lipstick, at least in the color Pastel Dust. My lips were slightly dry and it emphasized every little flake…it looked horrible close up. For this reason I don’t plan on buying any more of this line. The color, a light peach, was pretty, and the texture was nice. I don’t recall wear time, unfortunately.

I have found it!! The perfect everyday lipstick!! I bought this in “Nude Beach”, and it is probably the best purchase I have made from NYX. It is. creamy, build-able, and even though it settles into the cracks or your lips a tiny bit, it is very unnoticeable. It feels amazing on the lips. It isn’t tacky, and it feels like there is nothing on your lips!! I TOTALLY recommend this product to anyone!!! I want to get so much more in all the colors!

I think this lipstick is the lipstick I’ve been looking for my whole life, but didn’t know it until I found it.
First off, I just recently(the past 6 months) swore off those heavy, liquid lipsticks that feel like you’re laying down a thick layer of schellac. I realize that they don’t look good on my (I feel like I’m trying to hard) and they don’t’ feel good on my lips.
With that I’ve committed to finding (collecting) lipsticks that have good opacity, feel emollient on my lips, and have a dynamic finish.
And NYX Plush Gel Lipstick in Breakup IS IT. The case gives off the impression that it’s going to be this deep orange based brick brown from the 90s, but it’s not. It more of a Neutral brown with slight Mauve/Pink undertones. It’s really MLBB- a thing that I’ve been searching for since Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller met on the set of Hackers.
Feel: Super buttery, good slip. You can prevent it moving by wearing a primer/base and lip liner, but I don’t cause I actually like that lip stained look of no defined lip line as it fades.
Wear: Initially it wears glossy. I do not reapply. I let it fade through morning coffee and snacks, and it becomes this stain on my lips, no sheen.
The color is buildable. I do one swipe on both lips for the MLBB look. If I do 2 or more, it def becomes a richer denser color with higher propensity for movement. Color is very rich.
Taste/Scent: not unpleasant, makes me think of an old lady… who smells good.
I’m intending to horde the shit out of this lippy in the off chance the disco it (I’m looking at you NYX Xtreme Lip Cream!!!)
The photo is a single swipe, lip primer underneath, no liner. MLBB all day 🙂

I, like most women, have had countless lipsticks. I have handed so many down to my daughter that she could go the next 15 years without buying more, but this one, I Would repurchase.
I have Nude Beach and though it doesn’t last terribly long, it’s very comfortable and moisturizing. The color is the perfect nude for me (light-medium skin tone w/ cool undertone) and wears well as long as I don’t stuff my face. I have given all of my lipsticks away except for these
NYX Plush Gel Lipstick – Nude Beach
NYX Lingerie – Baby Doll
BareMinerals Gen Nude – Wink
The liquid lipsticks are for when I am going for longevity, and the Plush Gel is when I just want to slap something on for moisture and a finished look.

I love these lipsticks because they are very glossy and also highly pigmented. The color does not last through a meal but I expected that with a light pink glossy lip color. I love it for a more natural look and I don’t have to use both a lipstick and a gloss. I used the light pink shade and the darker shades definitely have more staying power. This cost me $7 at ulta and I thought that was very good for how much product there is and that it is great quality. I didn’t like the packaging very much but it was simple and for the price, I didn’t care. I will be repurchasing!

I can’t believe there are no other reviews for this. I looked, and if there are, please combine mine to the others. This is I believe a fairly new product at the moment. I almost passed it by on it’s own separate display in ULTA. They had testers out, so I figured, why not?! “Nude Beach” was the first one to came home with me.
I read the reviews on Ulta’s site thus far, and mine is for the most part opposite what most of the reviews on the Ulta site. To me, this applies very smoothly, application to me reminds me of a lip butter type of product (but more pigmented). I tested 3 or 4 colors (and ultimately purchased 2..so far..), and all applied smooth as silk….no settling into lines in my lips (which often seems to be a problem for me with many new release lipsticks anymore, dang matte trend), and I do not notice a scent nor ‘taste’ (some on Ulta’s site note a slight chemical smell and taste). Maybe this varies shade to shade, I do not know, but my nose is pretty sensitive, and I happily did not notice any scent. I ended up going back to purchase “Dime Piece,” which is a baby pink and I plan on getting a couple more. I like the small packaging, great for keeping one in the purse or in the car for a quick little ‘something-something’ if needed.
Very flattering shades for many skin tones imo, and these seem to wear just fine for me without turning funny or funky colors no getting gummy or gunky. Gives a bit of a sheen/shiny type/almost borderline glossy look, not matte at all.
Pleasantly surprised. I almost did not give these a second glance, but I am glad I did, because they are now one of my fave new lip products, even considering mid and high end options. Nicely pigmented, no staining that I found. Wear time is not the greatest, again, I get a couple hours out of this, so, again, similar to a tinted lip balm as far as wear time goes. But very comfortable on the lips and excellent for lunch with friends, quick outings, any time you want an easy lip product and don’t need a long-lasting color. That said, these are quite pigmented, one swipe for a wash of color or can build these up. Can feel a little slippery, but I do not have any trouble with these slipping outside the natural lip line. For me, I like that these do not accent the lip lines at all, are easy to apply, and have a color range from neutral (Breakup is on my list next) to fun colors (Azalea looks fun, especially for Spring and Summer, as does Coral Mist and Foxy Love, look great for Summer).
All in all a really easy to wear lipstick, comfortable, and does not turn funny colors. I like the slim design. Will (and already have) repurchase(d)!!
