Under cover lover is an unscented, neutral toned classic red. It’s vibrant and highly pigmented with buildable color that goes on silky smooth and buttery. Upon application, it’s pretty blendable and not waxy, so there is no rush to apply. With reasonable care, this wears for a long time without budging and eventually fades evenly leaning a stain. No feathering or bleeding even without lipliner or brush. Eventually, it wears on the dry side, but is not as dry as Mac’s red matte lipsticks or another long lasting matte formula. While Perfect Pout is not as comfortable as WnW Creamy megalast formula (I have megalast barely legal to compare which is a MLBB – for my NC 30-35 olive skin), Perfect Pout lasts much longer.. ThIs is a bit warm toned in comparison to the blue toned red of Mac Russian red. IMO, you need a well moisturized (a challenge for me in the winter) and exfoliated lip before application of this or any matte lipstick.
