I got the travel size of this, and I absolutely hate it. I’ve tried to love it, and forced myself to wear it outside several times, but I still cannot get myself it like it. Normally with liquid lipsticks, I expect them to dry after a few minutes. Not this one. It stays sticky and wet throughout the entire wear. It applies on patchy, and the product transfers on crazy. Even with my lip primer it can’t stay put for more than 30 minutes. Even my worst lipsticks manage to stay on for at least 2 hours. This one can’t even survive a sip of water. The product likes to migrate outwards, and manages to get outside of my lipliner to make it look like I’m a vampire that just had a very messy meal. I like hourglass, but for this product is a complete dud.

Hourglass, this is the Bentley of makeup brands as far as I’m concerned. I’ve had my eye on this liquid lipstick in the color ICON for a long time, but the cheapskate in me couldn’t justify shelling out $28 for a lipstick. Luckily for me, Sephora sells a baby in travel size for $10. This shade is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL blue red lipstick! Can I get away with wearing this everyday??? I hope so because I have been! I’ll be purchasing the full size when I run out, the beautiful packaging and soft formula make it worth every penny. Hourglass is a cruelty free company that prides itself on putting ingredients in their products that have skin care and anti-aging benefits. I love the Ambient Lighting Powders and I love these too. These are definately worth the splurge, my favorite formula so far as liquid lipsticks are concerned. NYX is a close second, then Limecrime.
