I see it everywhere, the matte lip and how good it looks on so many people. Naturally, I want to try it! However, each and every time the matte lippies are so dry and stickie that wearing them just isn’t as fun as I would hope to be.
Unfortunately, this is another one of those products for me. Great colors, it goes on like a silky dream, but right after the initial application, my lips are feeling dry and caked with a product.
I think that I have spent a week’s worth of wages searching for the perfect matte lipstick, sadly my search is done.

Whisper is a brown-y nude shade. It’s very pigmented but not too brown, no hints of grey, peach or orange. I love that with just one application it lasts pretty long and stays on the lips comfortably as well.
You’d definitely feel a grip on the lips from this matte lipstick texture but it’s not uncomfortable for me. Super cheap!

Love this formula…Jordana’s original matte is good too but I like the bullet on these Modern Mattes. This color is a neutral leaning slightly warm. It is a very “90’s” brown. Although, I never wore Browns in the 90’s, I am trying out this trend on the cheap in case I don’t like it. So far I am 50/50….
