There was this lipstick look that Sazan was wearing in her Living Proof Dry Volume video and… she didn’t include what shade it was in the description. I’ll post a reference photo with my review. Thankfully, an awesome cast member at my local Sephora was able to track down a similar neutral pink-nude shade and that shade is WHISPER 502. This shade is SO fantastic, I cannot gush enough about it.
WHISPER 502 is the second lightest shade in the Modern Matte collection and costs $26 — which I couldn’t argue with because there aren’t many shades out there like it. It’s a pale pink that almost looks like skin but has enough color to where it looks sophisticated and chic, very similar to the look Sazan was sporting. Plus, it’s matte! It complements SO well with my cool yellow undertones. This also pulls together very monochromatic outfits and makes petal pink jackets look adult. I’ve also uploaded a photo of Katarina Rodriguez (Miss World Philippines) who’: wearing the same exact shade.
I highly recommend wearing a thin layer of lip balm or exfoliating first before putting this on as it can highlight flakes (then again, my lips just flake an awful, awful lot). I wouldn’t call this an MLBB though it very much is my lip color but MORE NUDE – it’s my perfect nude shade!
