I got a sample size of this to try before I broke out my full-sized one, given the mixed reviews. As it turns out, I really like it (but I love liquid lipstick). The shade is a bit intense and bright (similar to Bite Beauty’s Rhubarb, but slightly brighter and darker), but punches up a neutral eye/cheek look. I like the formula and found it neither drying nor moisturizing, but not truly matte, which is a plus in my book. The small size of the sample applicator makes it fairly easy to apply, but in the future I’ll apply it with a brush to get a lighter layer and slightly lighter shade on my lips. It does transfer because it’s not flat matte, but the wear time is good and it leaves a stain, which can be enhanced by applying a little lip balm. Overall, I like it and think it a good value for the price. I’ve already bought another in Velvet, a beautiful berry red. And it’s gluten free.

This shade is aweful on me. Just aweful. It’s like a purple pink toned shade. The consistency is nice, light and moisturizing.
