   I wasn’t going to buy this lipstick because I find it’s expensive at $18 for less than 2g of product. However, I decided to go for it since this color (Freckle Fiesta) is EXACTLY what I was looking for! It’s the perfect deep pumpkin orange that really compliments my fair olive complexion.

   The formula is fantastic! It really hangs on for hours, even lasting through two cups of coffee without any signs of fading. It won’t stay put through eating, of course, but I don’t find that any lipstick, even liquid lipstick formulas, will last through meals. It’s not drying at all, and it really does look plush as the name suggests.

   The packaging is beautiful to look at, but it does feel a little flimsy, and not luxurious at all. The cap doesn’t feel like it clicks closed all the way, but it hasn’t come open in my bag or anything. I do appreciate the slim profile of it, but that of course leads to a much smaller amount of product, which I’m not thrilled about given the price.

   I will purchase this shade and others in the range again, but Fenty really should consider at least increasing the amount of product in the package because it’s a bit exorbitant for how much you get.

   This shade caught my eye as soon as I saw it. This is such a “me” color- warm, deep terracotta that compliments my super fair skin (with yellow-olive undertones).
   What I love:
   – rich, creamy matte formula
   – intense pigmentation
   – easy to apply and achieve precise contour without lip liner
   – it’s long lasting and non drying
   – lovely selection of flattering colors
   The plastic packaging is a bit flimsy, doesn’t have a luxe vibe at all, but the overall performance is great. Definitely would repurchase!

   Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in the shade called Freckle Fiesta is a shade that pretty much matches what you actually see on the Fenty Beauty website. It looks like a subdued brownish orange shade or a terracotta shade in the tube and on my lips it looks like a medium warm terracotta color – just a rusty brownish orange. Freckle Fiesta appears to have just the very tiniest bit of coral in it not enough to look like a flamingo flying around or a plastic flamingo stuck out in somebody’s front yard but just a tiny bit of coral to its appearance or at least under certain lighting or angles.

   On me it’s a neutral that has an interesting and very warm undertone to it. Neutral enough to look seasonless yet it still looks very summer-y and autumnal. Freckle Fiesta just has a different yet flattering ‘adobe house in the pretty red sand desert in the southwestern US’ shade to it. This shade should easily suit somebody with warm undertones or possibly somebody with neutral undertones.

   It strangely enough matches a brick colored jacket of mine that I have almost perfectly.

   I could see myself buying this same shade again or accepting it as a gift.
