Very good lipsticks and beautifull colors. It lasts a long time despite eating and plus they smell amazing.

I picked this up in “Au Naturelle”, expecting a sublime liquid lip experience. What I got was crackling, settling into lip lines, and a weird, powdery finish that made my lips feel and look completely dehydrated. Perhaps this just doesn’t work for me and is great for others, but it was a far cry from the great results I get from The Balm’s Meet Matte Hughes or Wet n Wild’s Liquid Catsuit. I’m glad I didn’t leave it on long enough for it to do any real damage, but for the three hours I wore it, it caused some pretty severe flaking.
It’s a good price over all at $14 for nearly 7g of product, and the packaging is great; compact but not skimping on quantity, and the applicator is a fantastic design.
Dang. I really wanted to love this.

Recently Pixi Beauty added several new shades to the Matte Last Lip selection. I am super thrilled as I am a fan of darker, bold lip colors. The new shades are:
Bare Beauty
Peony Pink
Prettiest Pink
Orange Red
Real Red
Berry Boost
I love the design of the packaging on all Matte Last Liquid Lips. The petal-shaped wand makes for super easy application in one dip. The liquid lipstick is super pigmented and opaque in one swipe. It has a mild rose scent. It feels more oily than other similar products. The color lasts for up to 12h on the lips, including meals and drinks throughout the day. It is less drying than similar products from other brands.
With the new color selection we have more to choose from.

If you are new to Pixi and you love a good neutral lip, these will be your BFFs!
I personally hate liquid lipsticks, I’ve tried a ton of brands but nothing would work for me (dry lips, dehydrated look, crumbling, discomfort etc). So I would only stick to classic mattes, but only until I’ve discovered this range. It applies like a dream, gives you a perfect opaque colour in one stroke and is light as a feather.
Never in my life was I this excited about a lipstick launch! These are infused with rose oil, so they feel very comfortable on the lips. I talk more about wear and application in a separate review; I have also unedited hand/lip swatches for those of you interested of nearly every single shade ( But all in all, I think Pixi nailed it and can’t recommend these enough!

I purchased this in the shade Pastel Petal which looked really nice in the package, a pink/rose nude but… it had what I would describe as a “foundation base” quality to it which made it overly opaque and not flattering on me at all. I was really hoping this would have worked out for me, but back to the store it goes. I looked up swatches of the other shades and if I can get my hands on “Evening Rose” which is much deeper, a brownish rose shade then I will purchase. As for the formula, it feels quite comfortable on the lips but the applicator is VERY flexible and hard to control. I think these are worth picking up, although pricey at least they are cruelty-free. I’m not sure they are twice as good as the Maybelline Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick which offers more shades at half the price though.

I tried this based on a review I saw online and the Rose color was beautiful. I picked it up at Target for less than $10, which is great (but I do think I remember thinking that it was a bit expensive for drugstore, however, it seems that Pixi is a higher priced drugstore brand, in my opinion). It is a creamy formula that does dry down, but not to a “you can see every line in your lips and then some” matte finish. would probably consider it a demi- or satin-matte finish. It stays very comfortable. but it definitely isn’t transfer proof. I didn’t wear a lip liner with it and it did bleed a little bit, but if worn with one it stays within your lip line and is really beautiful. I will warn that it is a tough one to put a gloss over. It kind of turned into a creamy mess when I added a lip topper over it, so I haven’t worn it that way since. I think it’s because it is a really soft matte and not a super dry formula. Overall, a really nice lip product,

I got this in really rose when it was on clearance..for some unknown reason why.. it’s a really soft and plush matte formula but the applicator end was so loose and floppy I was worried it may have been a defective product but it seemed to be well attached and thank god I got a lip brush to use it with as well. It’s a bright pink when it goes on wet but dries down to a nice muted rose pink color. It does stay on well even I didn’t get it all off in one swipe of a tissue and scrubbed it off on a washcloth in the shower..hmm… wish there were more bolder shades like a pretty red and not just nudes.

Pixi by Petra is a cruelty free brand. I purchased this at Shoppers Drug Mart for I believe $20.00, but I’m not completely sure.
I have this in the shade Really Rose and it is a very pretty colour. It is a rosy pink with a bit of brown, and it is pigmented! I personally find that if I use the applicator to apply this all over my lips, I get too much product. It ends up looking really heavy on my lips and it just isn’t a good look. I do, however, like the way it applies if I use the applicator in the middle of my lip and blend it out using my finger. It still gives a lot of colour, and I really like how it looks! It is comfy on the lips, which I also really appreciate.
The smell is something I’m not so big on. I don’t really know how to describe the scent but it’s odd. It’s not sweet, and I can’t tell if the company was trying to give it a scent or not. It isn’t a massive deal though, as I can’t smell it while applying or after application. The applicator is the kind that’s more popular these days. It has the doe foot with a little hole in it, it picks up a lot of product, I’m not mad at it. It comes in a square tube, which I like! That way it won’t roll away on me.
Writing out the review it really isn’t a bad product, it’s just not one of my favourites. I personally prefer the new Physicians Formula Healthy Lip to this, and they are around the same price. I think the Physicians Formula is a few dollars cheaper. I personally won’t be repurchasing but if you like the colours (I think there is six) I don’t think you would be disappointed with the product. It is pretty pricey for drugstore but I find that’s just how PIxi is.
