I prefer the matte shakers to the original. I found the original just slipped right off my lips so I almost felt like why bother applying them in the first place. But the matte version definitely stays longer and offers more pigment. I really like how thin but flattering the formula is. My lips get pretty dry in the Canadian winters (and im approaching my mid 30’s!) but I find these still look flattering on and almost plush up my lips a little bit. They don’t last as long as my traditional matte lipsticks but it lasts long enough for me to keep using them. They also fade in a flattering way so I’m not bothered to keep checking my lips at work. These sometimes go on sale at sephora for 25-30% off so I would highly recommend if you see them at that price point. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

Tried this in one of the pink shades…the color was mega bright and pigmented. Although the color wasn’t for me…this stuff is awesome. Stays on forever and doesnt dry your lips…definitely gonna try in a different color. *Edit weird got this in a more neutral shade and it wasn’t as good : (

There’s 2 versions of this – the Bi-Phase Oil version and then the Matte Shaker which has more pigment. I’ll be reviewing 382 Pink Wink which is a neon pink-red from the Matte Shaker series.
I love it – especially in the bleak, winter cold. Usually stained lips are something I go for in the summer but I can just as well imagine layering a lip mask and Pink Wink to make a juicy lips look to brighten up my face. My skin also tends to be more dull and sallow, so the colors in this range (especially Pink Wink) really perk up my complexion and make me look more lively! Highly recommend exfoliating your lips beforehand because the color can catch onto flakes, and keep a lip balm handy. This does wear brightly at first and then tone slightly down after a few hours, but you can build up the color in a few swipes. The packaging is a bit bulky and you do have to shake it up, which makes it a novelty in a sense. Since I wear a lot of neutral colors throughout the season (and at work), this pop of color is something I feel I can get away with.
If you know anyone who’s into K-beauty, this also makes for a really great gift!

I normally never write aproduct review. But this lipstick is sooo great that i would love to share. I have dry lips and im a smokers, i want to have a liquid lipstick that doesnt stain drink, eat or smoke. Normally liquid lipstick tend to gave me dry lips and its icky. But this one is a God-sent that doesnt transfer and my lipstick stays all day and i dont even felt like im wearing lipstick! Best lipstick ever made!

I never write reviews but this little beauty changed everything.
Beside the staying power this thing delivers everything I’ve ever dreamed of. My lips instantly feel plumped, soft and beautiful upon applying and it never dries them out(I usually have chapped lips). The color is not as dark as the bottle and not very pigmented (that’s a plus for me) but it looks very natural and pretty.
This matte liquid lipstick is the best I’ve tried so far, and trust me… I’ve tried them ALL (huda beauty, kylie, too faced, the balm, stila, ciate, gerard, lime crime and sooo many more.)
I currently own it in 5 shades : plum plum girl, redy in 5, kiss me cherie , magenta and pink power and am planning to buy more. My favorite would be the plum one and redy in five.
I would definitely recommend this if u like natural soft looking lips and u don’t mind the staying power.(though it stains a bit after fading)

I really wanted to love this but unfortunately I just do not.
The one I bought is named “Plum Plum Girl”. It is a very beautiful color and what attracted me to purchase it in the first place. While it does leave your lips feeling very soft, keeping the application on was trouble. It would come off a lot more easily than other products I have used in the past. There was a slight stain that would stay on my lips, but eventually faded away very quickly.
I do not know if this is true to the other colors in the line or maybe I just received an unlucky matte shaker.

I have to disagree with the review before me, I have very dry lips, so dry I have been unable to wear liquid lipsticks, even after exfoliating and using lip balm the night before to soak in. These are the absolute most comfortable, ‘forget that they are there’ lip products. I have used lip balms that dried my lips out more than these. These are incredible, I highly recommend.

I have owned a Juicy Shaker for the longest time, and I think it’s fun to use, love the packaging. So I decided to take the plunge and try out the Matte Shakers. I purchased mine in Red’y in 5 – a bright, warm red.
It is a beautiful colour that makes my lips look super plump. You’d think the applicator would be a bit clumsy during application, but I found it was a breeze to use, very forgiving and good for touch-ups on the go. You shake up the lipstick to get everything mixed and apply to your lips, then wait about 90 seconds for it to dry down. The result is a gorgeous, vibrant liquid lipstick that feels like nothing on the lips. So stunning!
The downside is that it although it didn’t feel drying on my lips, my lips are naturally pretty dry, so I wish it was a bit more moisturising feeling. I was confident that the colour wasn’t sliding around or off of my lips, but at the same time, it didn’t last very long. In between meals, I had to reapply, and when it wore off, it left a lip-liner look which dislike. I was shocked that no stain was left behind, my lips would be completely bare.
Luckily, it was effortless and fun to reapply, but I wish it were a bit more long-lasting, even as a stain. It never fully dried down and transferred a lot throughout the day. Overall I did love the way my lips looked wearing it, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for the performance. Love the packaging and like Lisa Eldridge who I believe helped design it with Lancome(?). I wish I could give it a 5/5, but it’s not a lipstick I reach for often.
If your lips are naturally very moist, I would recommend you try it out. If you’re dry like me, then you’re probably better off skipping this one and using a standard lipstick.
