Such a cute daytime shade. Usually i wear reds but if i need to look a little more conservative for something ill go with this, suits me really nice ive got fair skin and blue eyes. Really nice but its a tiny bit drying even for a matte lipstick. Takes a little work for it to come off, im not talkinh nyx lingerie wont come off, but still, bitta work. I like it. 4/5.

I love everything about this! it stays on for long, it’s a bit drying indeed, but not too bad. and i also loooove the colour. perfect nude for me at the moment

Oh no, Not my shade and it’s a little too pigmented for my taste. As the colour dries it changes shade slightly. it does look ok with a thin layer of lipgloss over it.

I don’t like it. Bought it based on raving reviews online. Firstly, I strongly dislike the shade. According to the reviews I read it was supposed to be a nude shade, mine is very pink. The applicator is loo long and not good, although it does help with a precise application, I don’t like it. It’s not longlasting as it flakes off. Very uncomfortable on the lips.

Unlike other people here, I actually really dislike the color of this. I have a strong yellow undertone, and I looked sick with this on my lips. I tried this out on my arm before purchasing (no way I’ll put things other people have tried on my lips!), but on the lips it had a different undertone. While this was mostly neutral-slightly cool on my arm, it had a GREY undertone on my lips, and dried down to a darker color. I tried applying in both thin and thick layers, and the result was the same. Because it is VERY pigmented and drying, this really accentuated any texture on my lips, and made them look really dry.
Also, this doesn’t layer well: it rolls up in small balls. This is dissolved by oil, and so, after a greasy meal I got a naked ring on my lips. When I tried to reapply this, it looked nasty: it began rolling up in balls and flaking! This also never completely dried on me and remained sticky, which I also dislike. It was not just a little sticky: my lips stuck together when they touched. I MUCH prefer the Meet Matt(e) Hughes from The Balm liquid lipsticks – they feel much better on my lips (moisturizing instead of drying) and are generally much better quality. I’d recommend Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick in the pink shades 1000x over this

Unfortunately not for me. I’m an Asian in a cold country, which almost automatically means that my whole body has trouble coping with the dryness and cold that I’m not made for, including my lips. Birthday Suit is a gorgeous shade, as a lot of reviewers also mention, but I just can’t get away wearing it. I tried it with coconut oil underneath, as well as nothing underneath and as dry and productless as possible, ad it cracks on me both times in the same way. I think I at most can only make moussy liquid lipstick work.
Pro:
– gorgeous shade
– cruelty free
Con:
– a bit cheapo packaging imo
– cracks, dries out after minutes

This is my go to matte lip. The color and formula is so good. This is the only drugstore/high street lip product I trust when I go out clubbing or want to be guaranteed that my lip color won’t move. Would definitely recommend.

It’s a beautiful shade, but the formula is extremely drying and isn’t really long wearing even with lip primers/liner, I usually apply a lip balm on top since the formula isn’t long wearing anyway but it helps with the dryness

I bought this after a MUA used it on me at a shoot. I loved the shade and asked what it was and they said it was Sleek Birthday Suit. They reapplied several times during the day so I knew that it wouldn’t last long but I really liked the shade because it suited my skin well. I tried putting it on with nothing on my lips and it dried up quickly and after a few hours, it started to flake. My lips didn’t dry up but it flaked on me. I tried the second time to add a lipbalm first and bham, it turned out much better. The lasting power is not strong so you would have to reapply it after eating and drinking but for the price, I can’t really expect much so I guess it’s just fine.

I have this in shade Pearl and it’s a lovely colour. I had troubles applying it first because it dried really really quick. This product requires a lip balm / lip primer. For the price, it is good. But it really dries the lips.
